Hi Everyone! What is the perfect topping on a cupcake? Glitter of course! Ha! This is my first card I'm submitting for Lucy's Glitter Challenge. Love that girl!
This card was super easy to put together and the sketch could be used over and over again for so many fun different types of cards. I also had to pull out one of my favorite cupcake card color combinations. You can't go wrong with pink, brown and craft! Right, Donna? :)
It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time! This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !
