Mama Elephant: Shooting Star

Each Mama Elephant stamp set has been such a joy to create with this month! Shooting Star is another great set with THE BEST sentiments ever. I just love the text and handwriting combo.

To create my card I stamped the girl from Shooting Star. Then I colored her with Copics and cut her out with the coordinating dies. I used the star clusters and individual stars found in the stamp set to create a burst of stars behind her on a panel cut from Femme Frames. The large patterned paper panel, that fits perfectly on a standard A2 card, was cut from Sew Fancy. Isn't that stitched edge the best?!

I finished my card with a little Wink of Stella on the girl's shoes and stars on her purse and bow plus a few sequins sprinkled in the sky.

Mama Elephant: Merci

Today I'm excited to help feature the new Mama Elephant stamp set Merci. This is one of those stamp sets that is an instant classic. Definitely one that I'll be grabbing again and again.

For my card I die cut the medium sized tag from Tags a Lot then I stamped the thank you greeting from Merci. Next I stamped the flowers with Mama Elephants die ink. The coverage is unbeatable. I'm finding myself leaning towards die inks more and more. :)

I finished the card with a simple twine bow, a little patterned paper and some washi tape to pull it all together.

Mama Elephant: Tiny Heroes

I'm so excited to share more cards from this month's Mama Elephant release! First up is Tiny Heroes. This might be one of my favorite sets ever! (and you'll see it a lot in my release projects this week) :)

On this card I stamped the super hero boy and colored him with Copics. I used the Creative Cuts dies to cut him out perfectly. Before permanently securing him to the tag I stamped stars using Buttercup ink and then Orangeade. I die cut the stars from Lots of Stars, colored them with a grey Copic then cover them with clear Wink of Stella. I love how these look shimmery sliver...so easy.

I stamped the sentiment from Tiny Heroes on a tag from Slim Tag Trio. and finished the card with some twine, washi tape and a card base panel cut from Peek a Frame.

This is just the beginning of a fun filled week. (Yay!)
Thanks for stopping by!

For the Stampede I created a card using the new Stitched Sky dies. These awesome dies are prefect for grounding stamped images or for creating a cute scene all by themselves! For my card I created a happy little sky for my superhero girl and dog.

I started by die cuting the stars and cloud from white cardstock. I colored the stars with Copics and inked up the cloud with Distress Inks. I love how they work so perfectly with so many of the new and existing ME images. I stamped and die cut the new Tiny Heroes stamps, colored them with Copics and fit them in to my sky scene. I finished the card with a sentiment from Tiny Heroes which was all place on a die cut mat from the new Sew Fancy dies!

Lot of great products coming your way!

Keep stampin' along...

Mama Elephant: Designer Series Purrfect Pair

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing a card using the new Purrfect Pair stamp set. I started off with the two adorable large cats included in the set. I stamped and die cut them, then used Copics to color them in. I love all of the different ways you can colors these cats! They are so much fun!

After I finished the cats, I stamped, die cut and colored the sweet bow to dress up the girl cat. I just love the fish bone included in this set so I stamped it on my card base and added the die cut bowl on top. To do this I stamped the entire bowl image (which includes noodles) then I die cut it and trimmed the top off.

I stamped the sentiment on a tag from Slim Tags Trio and wrapped the end around my card base which was cut from the large frame in the Peek a Frame die set. The stitching detail on the card base and tag are such fun addition that brings a lot of interest to the card.

That is my card for today! Thanks for stopping by!

25 Days of Christmas Tags

Today I'm joining the Paper Smooches team in the 25 Days of Christmas tags over at In My Creative Opinion

I used Gift Tags, Cool Dudes and a sentiment from Chilly Chums. The snowman was colored with Copics and adhered to the tag. I LOVE adding sentiments to tags with smaller tags. :) It's a fun way to make them pop! These two tags are part of a 3 piece set so layering is easy.

Thanks Tracey for asking me to join! Now I'm off to go check out some more tags and GIVEAWAY.... HERE

Have a great day!

Mama Elephant: Balloons

Balloon Letters and Balloon Et Cetera are super awesome! Talk about fun, trendy and cute! Today there are all sorts of cards showing off these two sets over on the Mama Elephant blog. Here are mine...

I created this card featuring the Balloons Et Cetera set. First I die cut Hello Script and laid out the animal balloon stamps to get the perfect placement. I stamped the animals in some of my favorite inks (Rainwater, Lemongrass and Lollipop). Next, I die cut the journaling card from Peek a Frame out of kraft cardstock to make a window. I adhere the hello die to the front and mounted my balloon animals to the back. Then I drew the balloon strings.

To finish the card I die cut a few Confetti pieces, stamped the "sweet thing" from Cross My Heart and mounted them all to a large blue mat cut from Peek a Frame.

Next, I created a card featuring Balloon Letters. It also uses a stamp from Balloon Et Cetera and Pandamonium. First, I decided on the placement of my balloons and pandas. Then I inked them up and stamped them on a die cut piece from Femme Frames. I drew in the balloon strings and added a little bit of shading to the pandas with Copics. Next I added a cloud by die cutting Landscape Trio.

I hope you enjoyed my cards today! Thanks for stopping by!
