Avery Elle All of Us

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing a few of my favorites from the brand new Avery Elle release! When I was unpacking my new stamps there were definitely a few stamp sets that grabbed my attention. All of Us was one of those sets. I love it!

I started this card with those adorable bears! I had such a fun time choosing how I wanted them to look. I absolutely adore that panda bear! Next, I used the Arrow Mat die to cut out a triangle to create the window. Then, I had a lot of fun and blended the hill and sky with Distress Oxides. I wanted a big sentiment so I die cut Happy Birthday from gold glitter card stock with the Confetti Mat die.

Finally I added a few clouds from the Photo Mat Die and adhered all of the pieces together.

I hope you enjoyed my card today! I can't wait to see what you create!

Avery Elle Spring 2019 Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing a few new dies and a sentiment stamp set from the brand new Avery Elle release!

Let's check it out...

To create this card I used the bowl die from Phonomenal (yes, it's supposed to be a soup bowl) and the Cotton Candy die to create my fun frozen treat! Eek! Next, I stamped the sentiment from So Kind on the bowl and added polka dots. Wanna know a little trick? I used the small circle dies, also from Phonomenal, to create a mask. I placed the mask on the bowl several times and dabbed ink in the circles to create polka dots. Then I cut out the Quilted Frame Die from craft card stock and adhered the frozen treat on top. I finished the card with some twine and glitter.

Next up on the blog hop is Elena Roussakis!

Here are more details on today's hop...

Avery Elle Some Bunny

Hi Everyone! It's been a cold week but I can feel spring coming...it's just around the corner! Spring reminds me of cool days, filled with sunshine, green grass, new flowers and new life.

Some Bunny captures all that spring is and I can't wait to share it with you!

To create my card, I started by stamping the large balloon stamp. Next, I colored it and used the coordinating die to cut it out.

Then I created the background. First, I blended Distress Ink around the top and sides. Then I stamped the bunny. I brushed in grass with Copics along the bottom and around the bunny. I love how this turned out! I'll be drawing more grass in the future. It was fun!

Finally, I lightly colored the bunny and stamped the sentiment.

Such a fun, easy card. Thanks for stopping by today!

Avery Elle Tons of Hearts

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing the Tons of Hearts Frame. I've added a few of my other favorite stamps to today's card too! Let's take a look...

I started my card by water coloring a panel and placing it behind the Tons of Hearts Frame. Next, I die cut a circle and stamped a sentiment from And Then. I ended up masking the sentiment to take out the "O" and widen the gap between the "Y" and "U".

In the gap, I adhered a die cut cat from Party Pals. Isn't he cute?!

I finished the card with a heart speech bubble. I made this with a word bubble from the Photo Mat dies and a heart die from Otterly Fantastic.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Avery Elle Tropical Paradise

Hi Everyone! Happy New Year! Today I'm sharing some sweet stamps to start off the new year. I've seen so many fun tropical family vacation pictures lately and they inspired me to make this card.

I started the card by water coloring a soft background. It includes a wave, sun and a green tropical canopy. Next, I heat embossed Blooming and water colored it in the same soft colors.

Then I stamped, die cut and colored birds from Toucan Party I placed them all over their colorful perch. I added a sentiment from Banner Bits. Finally I added a Wonky 3D Bow. This was a last minute addition and I love it!

Avery Elle Favorites of 2018 Part 2

Hi Everyone! It's my last post of 2018, can you believe it?! I can't wait to see what's in store for Avery Elle in 2019 but first let's look back at some of my favorites from 2018.

Last week I shared part one of my 2018 favorites HERE. As promised, I'm back to share more favorites this week!

This card features many animals from Peek a Boo Pals. I stamped so many I had to make my card extra tall! I picked two water loving animals for the bottom, two forest loving animals for the middle and two tree loving animals for the top! This was a fun way to mix Peek a Boo Pals and Polar Peek a Boo Pals.

I framed the animals with Photo Mat Dies and added sentiment banners from Party Pals. I blended Distress Ink in each frame and then did a light water color wash on the entire background. The light water color background helps the frames pop.

I adore these animals and love how this card turned out! See you in 2019!

Avery Elle Favorites of 2018 Part 1

Hi Friends! Today I'm sharing some of my favorite products from 2018!

Oh how I love the Magnolia stamp set from last spring. I knew I wanted to start with this set. Let me show you how I water colored it!

First, I heat embossed the magnolia flower on water color paper.  Next I did a super light color wash with Mimosa liquid water color.

I like to let the base color dry and then I add my shading. Paint the lines with a damp (not super wet) brush, then blend them in.

Once the lines are blend let it dry again and repeat the process. I found that by letting the project dry between layers of paint that I can control the color better.

After I made my flower with Mimosa water color paint I decided to make another with Cherry Next I added a few more of my favorite products. The sentiment is from Grateful and the gorgeous background is my all time favorite Chevron Mat.

Thanks for stopping by! What are some of your favorite Avery Elle products from 2018? I'll be back to share more next week!

Avery Elle Stuck on You

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing Stuck on You along with And Then sentiment stamps.

I made some small love notes that are so sweet! Let's take a look!

First, I cut white card stock in 3 x 4 inch pieces and rounded the corners. Next, I heat embossed sentiments from And Then on to each card and blended Distress Ink on the entire card.

Next, I stamped the large cactus several times from Stuck on You and colored them with Copics. I added one cactus to each card and they were complete!

These will be so fun to tuck in to lunches or give with small gifts for Valentines day! So fun!

Avery Elle Party Fox

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing Party Fox! I love these party animals, are you ready to check them out??!

To create my card I started by water coloring a green background. I mixed in a little blue to add some variety to the color.

Next, I stamped and die cut the foxes. These guys are adorable, don't you think? I colored them in fun festive colors and then added them to the background. I wanted a soft but fancy sentiment so I heat embossed "Happy Birthday" in Rose Gold Embossing Powder.

I finished the card with some patterned paper I had in my stash and a few crystals.

Thanks for stopping by!

I decorated the card with two of my favorite bears. :) The polar bear is from Polar Peek a Boo Pals and the panda is from Peek a Boo Pals. Finally, I die cut the sentiment from black card stock and added it to my card front.
