25 Days of Christmas Tags

Today I'm joining the Paper Smooches team in the 25 Days of Christmas tags over at In My Creative Opinion !  I used Gift Tags , Cool Dudes  and a sentiment from Chilly Chums . The snowman was colored with Copics and adhered to the tag. I LOVE adding sentiments to tags with smaller tags. :) It's a fun way to make them pop! These two tags are part of a 3 piece set so layering is easy. Thanks Tracey for asking me to join! Now I'm off to go check out some more tags and GIVEAWAY.... HERE .  Have a great day!

Mama Elephant: Balloons

Balloon Letters and Balloon Et Cetera are super awesome! Talk about fun, trendy and cute! Today there are all sorts of cards showing off these two sets over on the Mama Elephant blog . Here are mine... I created this card featuring the Balloons Et Cetera set. First I die cut Hello Script  and laid out the animal balloon stamps to get the perfect placement. I stamped the animals in some of my favorite inks ( Rainwater , Lemongrass  and Lollipop ). Next, I die cut the journaling card from Peek a Frame out of kraft cardstock to make a window. I adhere the hello die to the front and mounted my balloon animals to the back. Then I drew the balloon strings. To finish the card I die cut a few Confetti  pieces, stamped the "sweet thing" from Cross My Heart  and mounted them all to a large blue mat cut from Peek a Frame . Next, I created a card featuring Balloon Letters . It also uses a stamp from Balloon Et Cetera and Pandamonium . First, I decided on the pl

Mama Elephant: Cross My Heart

I adore the Mama Elephant release this month! Today the DT is featuring the Cross My Heart set. I thought it would be fun to make a little love note. :) I started by die cutting the journaling card from Peek a Frame . My card base was custom created to fit the die cut, leaving a nice border. Next I stamped the cat from Purrfect Pair and colored him in. Have I mentioned I LOVE coloring these cats? I have even more ideas coming. ;)  I placed my die cut cat on my card with the other stamps I wanted to used so I could get the placement just  right. Next I stamped the hearts in Blush , the "love you" in Lollipop  and finished off the sentiment in black. A piece of washi and a small twine bow finished the little card. :) Thanks for stopping by!

Mama Elephant: Happy Everything

I'm so excited about the stamps and dies Mama Elephant just released!  For this card, I started by die cutting the largest Peek a Frame die. Next I cut the Index Card die and stamped "happy" in black. There Happy Script  die that perfectly matches the stamp set  so I die cut "happy" and layered it on my card, slightly offset, to create a shadow. So cool! Next, I stamped and fussy cut the panda bears from Pandamonium . I die cut them a pair of speech bubbles from Polaroid Fun . I LOVE how the sentiments fit perfectly in the bubbles! Happy Everything has so many sentiment choices! The card was finished off with a little bit of yellow paper and washi tape. Thanks for stopping by!

Paper Smooches: Cool Dudes

I'll admit it. Snowman stamps are one of my favorites during the holidays. No one makes better snow people than Paper Smooches. :) Just look at this snow couple... I started by blending the horizon with Distress Inks. Next I stamped , die cut and paper pieced the snow couple. My favorite patterned paper right now is THIS one and THIS one from Avery Elle. The colors are bright and the patterns are versatile. The paper pads literately haven't been off my desk since I got them. :) After I adhered the couple to my card, I stamped the sentiment. The card needed a little more and after staring at the sentiment for a few minutes I thought I would make some "heart snow". Ya know, cuz love never melts? So I die cut lots of hearts, smeared them with Wink of Stella and carefully adhered them to my card. :) Thanks for stopping by! What is your favorite Paper Smooches stamp set?

Mama Elephant: November Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! You should have arrived here from Geralyn's blog .  The newest release is now live and available for purchase in their store HERE ! The release is another knock out hit! Each stamp set is amazing! Today I'm featuring Cross My Heart and I sneaked in a few of the other sets too! ;) I started my card by die cutting the stitched index card . Then I cut out the window  which is designed to open. (cool, right?) I wanted a frame for my window so I die cut the window again and trimmed the side before adhering it to my index base. Then I backed my window with some cloud patterned paper for my outside sky. Next I stamped and die cut the cats from Purrfect Pair. I have had SO much fun with these cats. After adhering to cats to the window sill, I stamped and fussy cut the heart balloon. I tied some black floss around the balloon and adhere it to the kitten's paw. Finally, I stamped my sentiment. I

Mama Elephant: Designer Series

Hi Everyone! Ashley here, sharing a fun tag highlighting the Block Party Letters stamp set! I started off by stamping my hello sentiment on various colored papers. Before trimming, I colored the shadows black and paper pieced some white in the middle of my letter O. These letters are super straight and are easy to trim out making them ideal for paper piecing or coloring! I accented my fun sentiment with a few die cut penguins from Arctic Penguins  and a heart from Instalove . I placed them all on top of a polaroid, also from Instalove . I created a small piece of faux washi tape by stamping Boutique Borders in Rainwater  ink and trimming it out to go on the top of the polaroid die. Mama Elephant's wide array of dies made it super easy to make a fun tag base using dies from Peek a Frame  and Tags a Lot. Now the tag is ready for a cheerful gift. I finished it off by stapling some twine to the tag and tying it around the handle of my store bought bag.  T
