Avery Elle City Celebrations

Happy Thursday!

Today I'm sharing the amazing City Celebrations die from Avery Elle. I've used this die several times during this release and I LOVE it. There are so many fun ways to use it.

Today, I water colored a piece of water color paper. Next, I cut out the die. I like to put a piece of wax paper between the die and the paper to make removal a little easier.

Next I stamped and die cut the dog from More Furry Friends and added the sentiment and stars from the City Celebrations stamp set.

Avery Elle Sip Sip Hooray

Hi Everyone!

I love looking at stamps and dies in creative ways. Today I used Avery Elle's Wine Bottle Die to create a celebration popper!

To create my card I used Distress Ink to blend the background. Next I layered a strip of patterned paper on the bottom of the card.

The popper was created by die cutting the Wine Bottle Die, I inked up the edges with Distress Ink and stamped the sentiment from Sip Sip Hooray. This stamp set has my favorite sentiments from the release. The handwritten font is amazing!

I finished the card with a large amount of sequins. I placed them randomly and overlapping to give a fun look. The star sequins are not glued done. The card with come out of the envelope spilling glitter everywhere. Fun, right?

Have a great day!

Avery Elle Mimosas

Hi Everyone! Today's card features some amazing Avery Elle stamps and lots of water coloring.

I started the card by embossing the Mimosas flower in white embossing flower. Next, I used Kuretake Gansai Tambi water colors to add color to the leaves and flowers. I die cut the flowers and black label using the Mimosas dies.

To create the background, I lightly water colored stripes and stamped the sentiment once my paper was completely dry.

Avery Elle Shaker Card

It's time to party! Today's card feature's Avery Elle's More Furry Friends, Time to Party and Scalloped Pierced Rectangle dies. This combo makes such a fun shaker card!

To create the card I die cut the largest Scalloped Pierced Rectangle and remove only the center of the die. Next, I stamped and die cut the adorable cat and the party balloons and colored them with Copics. I added string to the balloons and adhered them to the front of my card. To create the shaker I added foam adhesive (two layers!) on the back around the frame and put lots of Pretty Pink Posh sequins inside. The background was created with Distress Oxide. I LOVE how smooth these new inks are. They blend so easily and are my current go to inks.

Avery Elle Fruit Stand

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing Fruit Stand from Avery Elle. I love how it pairs with the City Celebrations die too! Let's take a look...

To create this card I stamped and die cut several images from Fruit Stand. I was reminded of outdoor markets in Seattle and NYC so I placed my images in front of the die cut City Celebrations. I cut pieces of the die off to expose space for the sky. The sky was blended with Distress Ink. Finally, I stamped the sentiment from the set.

Hope you have a great day!

Avery Elle Shine Bright

Happy Thursday! Today's card features Shine Bright from Avery Elle.

I started by stamping and die cuting several images from the stamp set. I love creating a scene. This stamp set makes it effortless.

I colored the images with Copics and then placed them together in front of a die cut circle. Behind the circle I used Distress Oxide to create a sky.

The card was finished with a few droplets from Pretty Pink Posh.

Avery Elle Carousel

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm sharing Avery Elle's Carousel stamp set along with Scalloped Pierced Rectangles and Sip Sip Hooray.

I created this scene by stamping and die cutting the horse and bear. Next, I die cut Scalloped Pierced Rectangles to create the white frame and taped the animals in. The sentiment from Sip Sip Hooray is embossed in white and then I added Distress Ink to the entire background.

I love this sentiment and how it tie in perfectly with the carousel animals!

Have a great day!

Avery Elle Spring Release Blog Hop

Welcome! I can't wait to share the new More Furry Friends stamp set from Avery Elle!

I started my card by stamping, die cutting and coloring lots of fun animals from the set. I actually colored twice as many as I ended up putting on this card because they are just so fun!

Once I had my animals, I stamped and die cut the hats, ball and fish. Notice the rainbow pattern?? ;)

I made the scene by adding the new fence from Picket Fences die. I love how it grounds the animals and brings the scene to life. Finally, I embossed the sentiment and adhered all of my pieces to the card.

Avery Elle Love Birds

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm sharing a fun framing technique using the Avery Elle stamp set Love Birds.

I started the card by stamping the frame images and die cutting them. I love this set because it includes the inside and outside die cuts separately so there are a lot of different options on how to use the frames.

Next, I die cut the frames again with colored card stock. I lightly colored the images to coordinate with the card stock. Finally I die cut the Hugs die and adhere all the pieces to my card front. I trimmed off the sides and my card was complete.

Hugs are the Answer

Hi Everyone!

Do you know someone who needs a hug? Simple Said Hugs is a hug in a stamp set. :)

I love the variety of sentiment combinations in this set. I used one of my favorites on today's card and another one HERE.

I started the card by die cutting "hugs" from the Simply Said Hugs Die. I used Distress Stain to color the blue shadow behind the word. Then, I stamped, fussy cut and colored one of the adorable dogs from Furry Friends. The background was created using a mask from the Rocky Shores dies, The green grass is Distress Ink and the pink is Distress Paint. I finished the card by embossing the sentiment on black,

Hope you are having a great week!

Mad Love

Hey Everyone!

Today I combined two awesome stamp sets from Avery Elle, My Favorite and That Bites. I love the sweet, stylish sentiments in My Favorite. I couldn't help but pair these funny fish with this particular sentiment.

I started by embossing the sentiment with white embossing powder. Then I blended 3 distress inks to make create the water for the fish. The fish were stamped and die cut, then colored with Copics. I love the two tone fish. I've done it before and I just couldn't help but color them in two colors again. I really think it makes them come to life.

I hope you enjoyed my card today! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Avery Elle Saturday

Hi Everyone! It's Saturday and I need to do a little catch up on my blog. I've been having so much fun with Letter Ballons over the last few weeks. Pinterest is full of inspiration!

My first card is an engagement card. I hand drew the string for the congrats banner and colored the letters with Distress Stain. Distress Stain is the easiest way to add quick color and I love to use it!

I stamped and die cut the cute couple from Swans. Do you see all the details the coordinating die cuts out??? I love that detail.

Next up I created another Letter Balloons card. This time I used Distress Paint and blended two colors together to create a fun gold look. I stamped, colored and die cut The Scoop ice cream truck and customized the colors and ice cream. This is another set where the die cuts blow me away. They cut out the window perfectly!

Also, did you notice??!?! I join the Butterfly Reflections team and I'm thrilled to share cards on their blog every Saturday. I can't wait to use more Avery Elle and other great products.

Finally, I created a card that features the Avery Elle Trees dies. I started by blending a rainbow of Distress Inks on white cardstock. Then I die cut the leaves several times. I inked up another piece of cardstock with brown, making it darker on the bottom and slowly fading it to the top. Then I die cut the tree trunk and splattered water on it. The bunny is from an older set, Woodland Creatures, and is some of my favorites. I also die cut the banner and stamped the sentiment from the Woodland Creatures set.

I loved creating these three cards and I can't wait to create more!
