Mama Elephant: Peek a Frame

Hi, Ashley here ready to show you more ideas using Mama Elephant's new Peek a Frames! The layering possibilities are endless! I started with the large, card size, frame in white. Then I layered the next size but arranged on it's side and trimmed the extra. Next, I added a tag from Tags a Lot  and then added the rounded journaling card from Peek a Frame . Last, be  definitely not least, I inked up In My Heart  to stamp with sweet little girl and sentiment. I hope you enjoyed seeing another fun way to use the amazing Peek a Frames!

Mama Elephant: Winter Wonderland

Hello! Today I'm sharing the new Creative Cuts that were just released for the Winter Wonderland stamp set. This is one of my favorite holiday sets so I am thrilled that the dies have been released! This card was really inspired by the sentiment I used from the Winter Wonderland stamp set. After I chose my sentiment I stamped the deer in sparkly gold ink then die cut them out.  I stamped the sentiment next on the scalloped tag from Tags a Lot  and then ground it with the banner from the same die set. I set the scene with the medium sized tag, again from Tags a Lot and then added a few coordinated patterned papers.  A little more sparkle was added to the card with some sequins and enamel dots. I'm so excited to have another card done for Christmas! Thanks for joining me today!

Mama Elephant: Tag A Lot

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing another fun project you can make using the new Tags a Lot Creative Cuts. For this project, I dressed up a simple gift bag using three of the dies found in Tags a Lot . First I die cut the largest tag from patterned paper. Next I layered in the medium sized tag and stamped it with one of my all time favorite sentiments from Confetti . To bring attention to the sentiment, I die cut the banner in Tags a Lot twice and wraped it around the medium tag. I chose the simple hole reinforcer die for my tag, also included in the Tags a Lot die set. A few enamel dots, twine and some gold glitter finished off my project. Gift giving just got easier with these awesome dies! I can't wait to make more tags!

Crate Paper: Composition

Pinterest is bursting with great ideas for composition. The elements of almost any picture can be broken down, studied and put towards new creative ideas! Photo Credit: Evanyaru This picture, of concrete painted candle holders grabbed my attention almost immediately. There are so many fun, trendy elements going on, I was inspired and ready to create! First up, I wanted to recreate the stacked feel to the picture. To do this I took a journaling card from Notes & Things and found three colorful embellishments and adhered them to the card from largest to smallest, just like the pictured. Since the background of my inspiration was mostly white, I chose a larger journaling card that matched this idea to be the background of my card. I love the playful colors popping out in the picture so I have a few colorful surprises above and below the smaller journaling card. The sentiment was the finished the card and adds a natural element too!  I had t

Mama Elephant: Peek a Frames

Hi! Ashley here today sharing a card with the new Peek a Frames dies! I love layering and these dies are the perfect set to do just that! I created my card with the three largest dies from the set. You'll notice in the smallest die, that I cut two pieces of cardstock and then used the Landscape Trio  to create a sweet landscape. All the stitching is so trendy and matches perfectly! Next, I stamped, die cut and colored the sheep from Carnival Cupcakes  and added a sentiment with the die cut banner from Sweet Havana . I love the unique details in the frames included in Frames a Lot and how it works so effortlessly with all the other ME dies and stamps!

Mama Elephant: Tags A Lot

Hi Everyone! Ashley here introducing one of the newest Creative Cuts, Tag a Lot! This die set is packed full of some amazing tags and more! I used two of the tags here to ground the adorable lion from Carnival Cupakes . Did you notice the sweet scallops and trendy stitching details on the tags?!? The sentiment is from In My Heart  and fits perfectly in the word bubble from Polaroid Fun . These new tag dies are front and center on my desk because I love them so much! I know you'll love them too. ;) Thanks for joining me today!

Bella Blvd: What's New

Bella product is arriving in stores! I've spied some over here at A Cherry On Top  in case you are looking. ;) I've said it once, and I'll say it again. I think Hello Autumn is my favorite fall collection of all times. The colors are amazing! I die cut the small square using Paper Smooches new Stitched Frame Dies . Then I layered the zig zag sticker tab, the paper piece acorn and some of my favorite papers. I started with the Daily Details Hello Autumn paper (because I LOVE those blue flowers) and then picked papers that fit the focal image (easy to do when they all coordinate!).  Next up is a card using the adorable Halloween Magic collection. Seriously cute! I used the borders paper for the base of my card. I love finding "hidden" sentiments on patterned paper and highlighting them with embellishments. That's just what I did on this card, surrounding Happy Halloween with washi tape and a variety of stickers! Thanks for joini

Crate Paper: Minimally Made

Creating projects with a minimal approach can be so refreshing for your creativity. I started by searching on Pinterest, looking quickly at pictures returned with searches like "minimal" and "simple". Once I had an idea of my direction I dove in to my projects. First, I created a card with the new collection Notes & Things. For me, on my first project, minimal meant leaving off extra embellishments. No string, no washi tape, no stitching, no enamel dots or sequins. Layering, but in a simple and clean way. I also tried to limit my choices of product, just sticking to one patterned paper, my tags and a few other things.  When I arranged my tags I specifically chose to layer the white, sentiment tag between the two colored tags. This highlights the sentiment without having to add extra stitching, tape or other embellishments. Next, I went to the minimalist extreme with some super fun results! The Notes & Things Accent Stickers mak

Paper Smooches: Cookie Jar

Happy Saturday! I'm really enjoying the new Paper Smooches release. There are so many stamps that are perfect for the upcoming gift giving season. :) I created my cookie jar with the new Just for You stamp set. I cut out a little patterned paper, rounded the corners and stamped the label. Then I stamped the label again and added the sentiment. I trimed out the sentiment label so there was a small grey border and popped it up on top of the patterned paper, larger label. Super easy and fun. I finished the jar with some washi tape around the lid, string and then added the beads to the end...because it just needed a little something extra. You could easily make tons of these for family and friends for the upcoming holidays! Thanks for stopping by!

Little Tangles: Sketch Challenge

I love a good sketch challenge! Check this one out.. Yep it's time for another Little Tangles challenge! This one is SO fun and easy I hope you'll join! I wanted to do something a little different so I used a few die cuts to layer in my sentiment. I love the You + Me stamp set! It's so perfect over and over and over again. :) I can't wait to see what YOU create!
