Avery Elle & Ellen Hutson Watercolor Blog Hop

Hello!  We are so excited to be hopping along with our friends at Ellen Hutson today.  We are featuring projects using our NEW Liquid Watercolors and are SO excited to show them off in action.  Avery Elle's liquid watercolors come in 10 gorgeous shades that can be used on their own or easily mixed together to create custom colors.  For an intense shade use the watercolors straight out of the bottle.  If you want lighter shades, just add various amounts of water to get the color you desire.  The possibilities are endless.  Be sure to check out all of the details of the hop as well as how to be entered to win one of TWO FULL SETS of our Avery Elle Liquid Watercolors over on the Ellen Hutson Classroom Blog.

Let's get to the hop shall we?

For my card today I created this fun scene using bunnies from Party Pals. A party wouldn't be complete without balloons, right? I added mine from the Toucan Party set. The bunnies were placed on a water colored background. I'm totally addicted these awesome new watercolors! They make backgrounds quick, fun and full of style.

Next, I created hill with the swimming pool from the Splash! die set. I love finding new ways to stretch my dies. The card was finished with an embossed sentiment from Toucan Party.

Thanks for joining me on the hop today. You are off to see the card created by the super talented Elena Roussakis!

Avery Elle Splash!

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing Splash!, the perfectly trendy must have summer stamp set.

Today I also continued playing with watercolors. Let me show you...

To create my card, I started by placing the Splash! pool die cut on water color paper. I loosely traced the inside with water colors.

Next, I removed the die and spread the colors in and out of my line with ONLY water. This toned down and mixed the colors. Sometimes I only pull the color in but since I wanted a splashing pool like I purposely made areas that were messy and added drips.

To finished my card I added the super fun images from Splash! and embosed the sentiment with Silver Fine Embossing Powder.

Thanks for stopping by!

Avery Elle Banner Bits

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing Banner Bits and so much more!

This card started with the new amazing liquid watercolors that were just released. They are so pretty. I can't stop using them! I water colored the background and then a small strip of paper for the banner

Next, I stamped the sweet panda and balloon from Party Pals. These images were colored with Copics. I love mixing marker coloring with water colors. The two styles mix together so well. I finished the card by stamping the sentiment and adhering all of the pieces together.

Thanks for stopping by today!
