You're Awesome Card

Hi Everyone! I've said it before and I'll say it again....I love to layer. It's fun for me. It's almost like working on a puzzle. Sometimes it goes quickly and other times I can play with paper pieces and I never find a solution. Here is one card I figured out. :)
 
 
I used Nina Yang's new Simply Tags: Christmas set. I haven't started Christmas cards yet so I thought I would use one of the other sentiments included in the set. The paper is My Girl from American Crafts. It's the same one I used below (and is also part of my Ellen Huston GIVEAWAY!).
 
 

The white card base seemed a little boring so I used some pink ink and my watercolor brush to add light splatters.

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . Mama Elephant March Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com I am so excited to share the new stamp set Ella & Friends with you! There are so many fun images to choose from in this set that all centers around the BEST elephant stamp ever. ;) I started my scene by stamping the elephant, then I masked in the bunny and bubble blower. Finally, I stamped the bubbles, puddle and splashes. I was SO fun to create. I colored the images with Copics and added a little ink to complete my scene. I trimmed it down to fit inside of the Instalove Creative Cuts and stamped the sentiment. I know you'll agree that stamping this set is super fun but first...
