Seeing Green

Hey Everyone! Can you believe its Thursday? That means tomorrow it the BIG hop day! Check out the details HERE. I have to admit that I'm a little nervous for how it will go but I'm also super excited. Please please please please join me (yes I'm begging) and make my this hop a success! :) :) :)

This week's Hero Arts challenge is to create a monochromatic card. I chose one of my favorite colors...green. And what is green without a frog? The small pieces behind the frog scene feature some of my favorite Hero Arts background stamps! Can't stop using those!

Hi Ashley - gorgeous card, love that froggy!!! Good luck with the hop - I will be joining in (of course). Although I am supposed to finishing orders of service / menus etc, I know where my priorities lie... and that's with the blog hop!!! YAY - can't wait. Thanks for organising it - such FUN!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . Mama Elephant March Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com I am so excited to share the new stamp set Ella & Friends with you! There are so many fun images to choose from in this set that all centers around the BEST elephant stamp ever. ;) I started my scene by stamping the elephant, then I masked in the bunny and bubble blower. Finally, I stamped the bubbles, puddle and splashes. I was SO fun to create. I colored the images with Copics and added a little ink to complete my scene.
