Happy Birthday Funny Kid

I submitted a few cards to this year's Paper Crafts Gallery Idol competition. My kids like funny things so this one is inspired by them. :) I showed it to my 5 year old and he laughed. Mission accomplished.

I used Lawn Fawn's Blue Skies for the clouds and balloon tops. The cake and sentiment is from Year Three and the ice cream is from Here's the Scoop.

Good luck to everyone who entered! I saw some AMAZING cards in the group!

Happy Sunday everybody! I didn't think I'd be entering this week's Hero Arts challenge but I was reading through my favorite blogs yesterday and was totally inspired by Jennifer Holmes . Love when that happens! Within a few hours I had this card put together. I had fun adding a few extra details. I curled the beak around a pencil to make it curve. Then put two layers of dimensional tape under the middle to support the shape. I also made accordion feet. These can fold flat for mailing. :) Materials: Hero Arts Stamps (Basic Lower & Upper Case Letters, Wavy Leaf Pattern, Many Hearts), Hero Arts Flowers, Hero Arts Button and Gems, Black Buttons, BoBunny Paper, String. Have a great day!

Mama Elephant March Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com I am so excited to share the new stamp set Ella & Friends with you! There are so many fun images to choose from in this set that all centers around the BEST elephant stamp ever. ;) I started my scene by stamping the elephant, then I masked in the bunny and bubble blower. Finally, I stamped the bubbles, puddle and splashes. I was SO fun to create. I colored the images with Copics and added a little ink to complete my scene. I trimmed it down to fit inside of the Instalove Creative Cuts and stamped the sentiment. I know you'll agree that stamping this set is super fun but first... To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is picking 3 winners to win their choice of stamp set! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede. You have up to 4 chances to qualify to
