Paper Smoochin'

Hi Everyone! After a loooong blogging break I am back to share a few cards with some of my favorite Paper Smooches stamps. Sunny weather is finally here so I've been inspired to make some bright and fun cards. :)

On the first one I started with the adorable bee image in Giddy Bugs. I added him to a cheerful sky (patterened paper is My Mind's Eye from the 6x6 Lime Twist collection) and then thought a colorful banner (from Hang Ups) would brighten this up a bit.

On the second card I was very inspired by Kryssi's card here. After I saw here card is knew I wanted to make a tree with my Hang Ups set too! I added leaves and flowers to my tree and colored them with Copics. I hung the tree house image in Hang Ups with some twine and added grass to the bottom using the pine needle images (also in Hang Ups). I finished the card with a sentiment from Sentiment Sampler and a little bit of glitter on the flowers. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Love your cards, Ashley!! I can't see which card you were inspired by, but I'm assuming it was the CPS sketch! Your take is fabulous and I actually created my tree with those leaves and the popcorn flower like you did initially but I mine didn't come out as cute as yours did, so I went with the fir. Btw, I hope you are submitting your cards to the monthly guest designer hunt! :)

Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com I am so excited to share the new stamp set Ella & Friends with you! There are so many fun images to choose from in this set that all centers around the BEST elephant stamp ever. ;) I started my scene by stamping the elephant, then I masked in the bunny and bubble blower. Finally, I stamped the bubbles, puddle and splashes. I was SO fun to create. I colored the images with Copics and added a little ink to complete my scene. I trimmed it down to fit inside of the Instalove Creative Cuts and stamped the sentiment. I know you'll agree that stamping this set is super fun but first... To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is picking 3 winners to win their choice of stamp set! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede. Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !
