Sneaky Inspiration Day One

Hey Everyone! Hero Arts is showing off some sneak peeks from their upcoming release this week over on their blog. So the challenge is to create a card inspired by one of the peeks. Both of my cards were inspired by this peek HERE.

This card was inspired by the cherries and also the bracket shape.

On this card I was inspired by the Stickles on the cherries. I love how adding Stickles to the inside of the wings totally changes the look of the butterfly.

Materials:
[Cherry On Top]
Stamps: Hero Arts So Sweet, Scattered Flowers
Paper: PTI
Ink: VersaMark, Memories Black Dye
Other: Top Note Die Cut, Nestabilities, Scallop Punch, PrismaColor Pencils, Hero Arts Heart Gems, White Pen, Computer Font

[Thinking of You]
Stamps: Hero Arts Florish Design Block, Heart Winged Butterfly, Happy Hello
Paper: PTI, Bazzill Swiss Dots Embossed, ShortCuts Acetate
Ink: Memories Black Dye, VersaMark
Other: SU Scallop Punch, PTI Buttons, Hero Arts Black Gems, Stickles

Mama Elephant: November Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! You should have arrived here from Geralyn's blog .  The newest release is now live and available for purchase in their store HERE ! The release is another knock out hit! Each stamp set is amazing! Today I'm featuring Cross My Heart and I sneaked in a few of the other sets too! ;) I started my card by die cutting the stitched index card . Then I cut out the window  which is designed to open. (cool, right?) I wanted a frame for my window so I die cut the window again and trimmed the side before adhering it to my index base. Then I backed my window with some cloud patterned paper for my outside sky. Next I stamped and die cut the cats from Purrfect Pair. I have had SO much fun with these cats. After adhering to cats to the window sill, I stamped and fussy cut the heart balloon. I tied some black floss around the balloon and adhere it to the kitten's paw. Finally, I stamped my sentiment. Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !
