So Very Happy

Hey everyone!

Today is SUCH a good day! My best friend had a baby boy a few hours ago, the sunshine is out, I chased Nick (my 19 month old) around during Daddy's soccer game and now he is taking a super good nap.... I'm also tired and hurt all over but who cares about that? :)

As promised I'm have another card to share today...

I used a few fun techniques...first, I blended the sky with three different shades of ColorBox chalk ink. Its a pretty popular technique but this was my first go at it. The second technique I used was for the shimmery hill. I cut out the hill piece then ran it through my Xyron sticker maker upside down (so the sticky part was on top). Then I added glitter and pressed it down with a scrap piece of paper. Love it!!!!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . Mama Elephant March Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com I am so excited to share the new stamp set Ella & Friends with you! There are so many fun images to choose from in this set that all centers around the BEST elephant stamp ever. ;) I started my scene by stamping the elephant, then I masked in the bunny and bubble blower. Finally, I stamped the bubbles, puddle and splashes. I was SO fun to create. I colored the images with Copics and added a little ink to complete my scene.
