Pretty Pink Posh October Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone! I'm so excited to share that I am a guest designer for Pretty Pink Posh this month! Today is day one of a THREE day blog hop celebrating their new release!

I created my card using their new products; Villages Stamps, Village Dies, Village Additions Stamps and Village Additions Dies. I also used the greetings set Holiday Scripts Stamps and Holiday Scripts Dies.

I stamped, die cut and colored several of the images from the village sets. These are SO enjoyable to put to together and bring me back to my childhood when I painted ceramic Christmas villages. I layered the building on top of white glitter cardstock which gives the card a magical feel. The details are amazing. I kept the buildings soft which helped the greeting to pop. TIP: I cut the "s" off of the large Holiday sentiment so I could group it with Greetings.

I can't wait to share the other cards I have created for this month! These stamps are quickly becoming some of my favorites!

There is an amazing giveaway today. Just leave a comment on each blog along the hop. One comment will be chosen each day to win a $25 gift certificate to Pretty Pink Posh. Comments must be left by 11:59PM PST on 10/19/2021.

There is also an amazing stencil set that is FREE on the Pretty Pink Posh website for orders over $125. Check out the details...

Today's blog hop! So much inspiration! Check it out...

This is so pretty in the paler tones. Christmas doesn't always have to be just bright red or green. Your interpretation if simply beautiful.

Hi, Ashley - Your name is -- now "was" -- new to me. I am really impressed. First, love the scene you created. Second, love the colors you chose -- soft and cozy. Third, love the use of pink as the shadow to your word die -- nice echo of the colors used in the scene and goes right along w/ the 2021 Xmas Theme of PINK IS HERE! Thx for sharing this great example!

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !

There are so many fun images to choose from in this set that all centers around the BEST elephant stamp ever. ;) I started my scene by stamping the elephant, then I masked in the bunny and bubble blower. I trimmed it down to fit inside of the Instalove Creative Cuts and stamped the sentiment. I know you'll agree that stamping this set is super fun but first...
