Avery Elle Summer 2020 Release Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone and welcome to the Avery Elle Summer Release Blog Hop! The new stamp sets are AMAZING! Enjoy hopping along and checking out all of the inspiration! I'm sharing Big Congrats with you. Let's take a peek...

I started my card by die cutting the congrats sentiment and shadows. I layered lots of fun summer colors inspired by beach clothing. Next, I stamped the black strip sentiment and trimmed it out. Then I water colored my background to fit around my sentiment. It really helps it pop! Finally, I stamped and die cut the shark from Peek a Boo Boat.

Go ahead and check out the rest of the hop and don't forget to enter the giveaway!

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !
