Avery Elle & Ellen Hutson Watercolor Blog Hop

Hello!  We are so excited to be hopping along with our friends at Ellen Hutson today.  We are featuring projects using our NEW Liquid Watercolors and are SO excited to show them off in action.  Avery Elle's liquid watercolors come in 10 gorgeous shades that can be used on their own or easily mixed together to create custom colors.  For an intense shade use the watercolors straight out of the bottle.  If you want lighter shades, just add various amounts of water to get the color you desire.  The possibilities are endless.  Be sure to check out all of the details of the hop as well as how to be entered to win one of TWO FULL SETS of our Avery Elle Liquid Watercolors over on the Ellen Hutson Classroom Blog.

Let's get to the hop shall we?

For my card today I created this fun scene using bunnies from Party Pals. A party wouldn't be complete without balloons, right? I added mine from the Toucan Party set. The bunnies were placed on a water colored background. I'm totally addicted these awesome new watercolors! They make backgrounds quick, fun and full of style.

Next, I created hill with the swimming pool from the Splash! die set. I love finding new ways to stretch my dies. The card was finished with an embossed sentiment from Toucan Party.

Thanks for joining me on the hop today. You are off to see the card created by the super talented Elena Roussakis!

What a fun card for Spring time - love the sweet bunnies! I love the amazing blends everyone on the blog hop seems to be getting with these new Avery Elle watercolors. Some are quite vibrant and some very soft - yet the color is still true and beautiful! I can't wait to buy some and try them for myself. Great card!

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !
