Isn’t that just the best? There’s no Hallmark store in the desert, so this is a pretty important gift we can give them as crafters! Mama Elephant's “In My heart” set was inspired by the mission of OWH; Mama Elephant knows that many of those serving overseas have little kiddos at home that they write to. Little Tangles is kicking off a new challenge and it's a trendy one! Watercolor! Get all of the challenge details and join in the fun HERE !  I decided to create a super simple card. Everyday Labels is one of my all time favorite Neat & Tangled sets. It's perfect for just about everything! To create this card, I had water colored a few very simple flowers then added up my stamped sentiment with dimensional adhesive. I mounted the watercolor paper on a colored card base and added a few enamel dots.  Thanks for stopping by! I'm looking forward to seeing what you create!

I had so much fun creating with Paper Smooches last release. Yes, it's been out for a few weeks but I wanted to revisit it before the next round comes. ;) These sets are all so fun and creative! There are no cactuses where I live (or cacti?) but I LOVE stamping them because they remind me of warm weather and fun. These plants are having so much fun and this sentiment is my favorite from the set. How do I pick a favorite stamp set from this release when they are all so awesome. The Kitchy Kitchen set is another great one. I paired it here with the coordinating dies and the Apron die. Eek. Cuteness. This full sized Retro Arrow die is such a blast. I cut it out of grey cardstock and then took several color and patterned papers behind it. I actually made the card base before I settled on a sentiment. This one just fit. :) Thanks for stopping by! Summer is just around the corner and I’m excited to bring the outside in, to three beach inspired cards!   There are so many ways to celebrate the waves and easy feeling of the beach through crafting so let’s get started! I always enjoy seeing the endless blue water at the beach. I used that inspiration and cut stripes of blue paper from the Open Road collection. By layering them it creates a textured beachy backdrop. Stickers and die cut pieces were layered over the backdrop to complete the look. The beach is a beautiful place but it also makes me think of parties with friends, family gatherings and fun! This next card captures that side of the beach. I started with the Big Sky pattern paper angled in the background. This provided a trendy backdrop for a fun frame, stickers and chipboard stickers from the Open Road collection. It's Neat & Tangled challenge time over at Little Tangles ! This challenge is so full of inspiraiton. The colors, flip flops, theme and overall layout can be used any way you'd like to create a fun project! (be sure to go to Little Tangles to get all of the official rules) :) I was inspired by the summer colors, the fun theme (summer is almost here!).
