Mama Elephant: Origami Love

I love stamping a super fun, creative and unique stamp set. Mama Elephant's Origami set is all three of those things and more. The sketchy sentiments? Yes please!


I started my card with the black bear. I love the color variations in the Basic Grey Fresh Cut 6x6 paper pad. There are a few great faux water colored pages that I'm really enjoying. I stamped the bear three times and layered him for some dimension. While I was layering him I decided to turn his head just a little bit. Eeek, so cute! 


The card came together really quickly after that. I just used a 4x6 journaling card, trimmed it down, placed the bear, stamped the sentiment and added a few embellishments. The journaling card was then adhered to some patterned paper from Crate Paper and finally adhere to a cardstock base.

What origami animals should I stamp next? :)

Very cute! I love how you used this set. I just got it yesterday. Haven't had a chance to play yet but can't wait to ink it up. :)

Mama Elephant: November Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! You should have arrived here from Geralyn's blog .  The newest release is now live and available for purchase in their store HERE ! The release is another knock out hit! Each stamp set is amazing! Today I'm featuring Cross My Heart and I sneaked in a few of the other sets too! ;) I started my card by die cutting the stitched index card . Then I cut out the window  which is designed to open. (cool, right?) I wanted a frame for my window so I die cut the window again and trimmed the side before adhering it to my index base. Then I backed my window with some cloud patterned paper for my outside sky. Next I stamped and die cut the cats from Purrfect Pair. I have had SO much fun with these cats. After adhering to cats to the window sill, I stamped and fussy cut the heart balloon. I tied some black floss around the balloon and adhere it to the kitten's paw. Finally, I stamped my sentiment.
