Hi Everyone! It's official...I'm finally sharing one of my scrapbook layouts on my blog! I created my first scrapbook page a long long time ago in high school. The love of scrapbooking lead me down the paper crafting road and eventually I found stamping and card making. It feels great to finally come full circle. :) My page is also being featured on the Penny Black blog today!
This is a page of my daughter when she turned 11 months old. I did a photo shoot of her every month from birth to a year old. I generally take a lot of pictures of my kids but I'm glad I have these milestones along with journaling to keep in her memory book. Now I just need to finish scrapping all of them! I love this butterfly from Penny Black. I colored it with Copics then added Glossy Accents to the large circles. I also cut between the wings and added a pop dot under the largest wing for added dimension.
I stamped these sweet flowers to complete my outdoor scene. I used the same colors as the butterfly to balance the colors across the page. As you can see I stamped the largest flower twice and offset it slightly. Glossy Accents were added to the red flowers.
Oh and how could I forget. Penny Black has a great alpabet set called Kate Text. I used the lower case set to stamp "you are my" and the date.
So do you want to see more layouts? I'd love to hear from you!
