Hi Everyone! For the last couple of months I've been watching other crafters create fun cards with Jane's amazing and cute digi images seen HERE . When she released her new Bird Watching images I just couldn't stand on the sidelines any longer! This is my first digital hybrid card ever! It was fairly simple but I need to find a better cardstock for printing on. Any suggestions? There is also some inspiration from Maile Belles in this card. She is one of my new favorite designers. Finally, I used the Embellish Magazine color challenge to finish off my card. The card was half done when I found their challenge and the extra colors finished off the card perfectly. Taylor is posted her 100th sketch challenge last Friday and I decided at the last minute to join in the fun. Here is her sketch. Isn't it fun? I used my new large flower Hero Arts cling. I decided to try some white inking like Kathy brilliantly adds to her cards. It makes me appreciate her cards even more! Hey Everybody! Sometimes a messy craftroom makes me more productive. :) In this case I had a bunch of random supplies out and it turned in to this card. I changed the monster image just a bit by rotating his eye to look up at the clover. The Uncle Kracker song "You Make Me Smile" was playing in my head the whole time I was putting this together. Hi Everyone! Hope you are having a great Valentine's day! I created this card for the current Caardvarks wedding challenge. I was inspired by my own wedding colors. The cake is also sorta inspired by the one from my wedding too. Except ours didn't have buttons on it! Ha! Wouldn't that be cool. ;) I used lots of PTI paper goodness and one of my all time favorite setiments for Hero Arts. Hey Everyone! I'm posting a card today for Lucy's Challenge 5 ...polka dots! The polka dots in this one are pretty subtle. The funny monster has polka dotted legs and then I used one of my favorite background stamps ( Cling Dots ) by Hero Arts! I'm hoping to make a couple more because I love love LOVE polka dots! I also want to thank Virginia and her family for picking my card as one of the HM winners in her Beat the Winter Blahs challenge !!! She is always such a ray of sunshine and to be picked and showcased as one of her family's favorite cards for her first challenge makes my day! Hope you enjoyed your weekend! Hi Everyone! I created this card for the Hero Arts February Flower challenge. I'm sure it will be the first of many. I paper pieced the Thank You cling stamp with lots of fun PTI and BoBunny papers. The leaves are colored with Copics and the Hero Arts pearls were colored with Sharpie pens to match the flowers. I found a coordinating flower image in the Artistic Borders clear set and stamped it in the background with VersaMark ink. Its time for me to get back to my craftroom. Cleaning instead of creating tonight...its LONG overdue for a good reorganization!
