Earth Day Birthday

Happy Earth Day! Today my sweet little baby girl turned one! So before I share my cards today I just wanted to share her cute little picture. :)

Here are the invitations I made for her party. Simple and fun...easy to mass produce. The hardest part was cutting out the birds and I did that while watching TV. They were stamped using Bird Watching Additions and Polka Dot Basics II.

I love this format for invitations. Especially for the kiddos. That way proud grandparents and friends can post them on the refrigerators and they look nice in the baby books and scrapbooks. :)

I made this card with some of the scrap pieces from the invitations. I also love the unexpected use of Take Note. I purchased the PTI set to make altered notepads but it worked perfectly for my lined circle.

The card was finished with a few PTI buttons and a setiment from Scattered Showers. All paper and colored ink is also PTI goodness.

Hope you have a great day!

Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com I am so excited to share the new stamp set Ella & Friends with you! There are so many fun images to choose from in this set that all centers around the BEST elephant stamp ever. ;) I started my scene by stamping the elephant, then I masked in the bunny and bubble blower. Finally, I stamped the bubbles, puddle and splashes. I was SO fun to create. I colored the images with Copics and added a little ink to complete my scene. I trimmed it down to fit inside of the Instalove Creative Cuts and stamped the sentiment. I know you'll agree that stamping this set is super fun but first... To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is picking 3 winners to win their choice of stamp set! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede. Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !
