Hope You're Feeling Better

Hi Everyone! A few posts ago I mentioned that I've been using my Everyday Button Bits set more. Here is another card using that wonderful set!

I often stack my cardstock while I'm trying to decide what colors I want to use. On this card, I liked the way they were stacked so much that I cut them out just as I had them laying out. I created the hill with my Marvy Giga Scallop punch in Papertrey Ink's Ripe Avocado to ground the springy colors (Aqua Mist, Summer Sunrise, Spring Moss and Hibiscus Burst) just a bit. Finally, buttons were added to complement the color sceme. All buttons are PTI except the pink one which is by Basic Grey.

Mama Elephant: November Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! You should have arrived here from Geralyn's blog .  The newest release is now live and available for purchase in their store HERE ! The release is another knock out hit! Each stamp set is amazing! Today I'm featuring Cross My Heart and I sneaked in a few of the other sets too! ;) I started my card by die cutting the stitched index card . Then I cut out the window  which is designed to open. (cool, right?) I wanted a frame for my window so I die cut the window again and trimmed the side before adhering it to my index base. Then I backed my window with some cloud patterned paper for my outside sky. Next I stamped and die cut the cats from Purrfect Pair. I have had SO much fun with these cats. After adhering to cats to the window sill, I stamped and fussy cut the heart balloon. I tied some black floss around the balloon and adhere it to the kitten's paw. Finally, I stamped my sentiment.
