What are you waiting for? Check it out HERE . I made my card using Penny Black's adorable Fly with Me cling stamp. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Night Night Moon set. Hi Everyone! I've been busy creating a lot of fun Christmas cards lately and I'm excited to share this one with you today that is featured on the Penny Black blog .  I created this background using the beautiful Footnote stamp. Using a stamp-a-ma-jig I was able to quickly create a quick elegant background. The flower was stamped using Christmas Star and inked it up with Distress Inks. I stamped it once for the main flower and then again to create a few leaves. Hi Everyone! I'm often asked how I have the time to craft and create with 2 little kiddos at home. The truth is I don't have hours and hours to sit down by myself in the peach and quiet of my craft room. Instead, I take the small moments throughout the day to plan, stamp, color, embellish, assemble, photograph and blog my cards. This card is a great example. While trying to fall asleep a few nights ago I came up with the sketch for this card and I decided on the stamps and colors I wanted to use. The next day I experimented with those ideas throughout the morning and then finished it up while my daughter took a nap. My son (who just turned three) loves to craft with me and enjoys inking up stamps, cutting with scissors and punching circles while I work. Hi Everyone! Today on the Penny Black blog the design team is focusing on fall. I decided to have some more fun with the sketch I first used HERE . I love reusing sketches or looking back at older cards to get a jump start on a new design. I used the Penny Black  Dark House  stamp to create a spooky little scene. I added fog with vellum and paper pieced the moon. For a little fun I added a strip of glitter to the top and bottom of the focal point (a halloween card can have some sparkle, right?) and finished the card of with the a Terrifying sentiment. Hi Everyone! I'm so excited to share this card with you today. Its also featured over on the Penny Black blog today. So be sure to visit over there and check it out! I took the super cute Mimi & Friend stamp and decided to use just the Friend. :) She reminded me of a little girl out on Halloween so I search for a treat basket for her and found the perfect pumpkin in the Trick or Treat set. I trimmed the top of the pumpkin, lined it with black ink and added a strap with black string. Mimi's friend is ready to go! I appreciate you stopping by today! Have a great day! A different Penny Black designer is being showcased each day so you don't want to miss out!  I'm totally excited about the card I'm going to share with you today for several reasons. I started with my favorite owl stamp  and decided he needed a butterfly friend. I love owls! I also want to point out that I made my own text paper! How cool is that?!?! Penny Black has a ton of great sentiments that you can use to make your own text. I used the sentiments set and stamped the small words from the happy birthday sentiment over and over again. Hi Everyone! The holidays are just around the corner, can you believe it?! I decided to dig in and make my first halloween card. I'm always looking for creative ways to use my stamps. I love getting as much mileage out of them as possible. So for today's card I took an Easter bunny, gave her a costume and... ...now she is perfect for Halloween! The options are endless. For easy costume making, I stamped the bunny image in white ink on the felt. I then cut out the pumkin shape considering her head and feet using the inked image as my guide. I then flipped over the felt and put on her custom taylored costume. *smile* I also want to point out that I created the card shape using Nestabilites Labels 8. Ah Paris... :) I created today's card using Ooh la la! , the cutest french chicken I've ever seen! I colored him with Copics, colored in several lines of different greens for the grass and stamped the Eiffel Tower in the background. I framed him out in a poloraid inspired frame and finished it with a simple sentiment and Basic Grey button. The final touch was using the Postcard stamp to create a fun travel inspired background. Hi Everyone! I hope you are enjoying the end of summer. We have been savoring these last few days, taking extra trips to the park and playing outside. My son just turned three and is so super proud of his new scooter. I'm proud of him because he made it through his first week of preschool. He is such a fun little guy. Last weekend I had an awesome class with Julie Eborsole . She is one of my all time favorites and I feel so lucky every time I am able to take one of her classes. I took advantage of my class discount and picked up some new fun supplies. This new punch is my favorite. Now on to the card...For the main image I stamped Hedge Delivery and colored it with Copics. I used Glossy Accents on the balloon and gift then inked in some clouds. The sentiment from Salutations was stamped on my new punch and then mounted on two Basic Grey buttons.

Hi Everyone! I've been busy all day finishing plans for my son's 3rd birthday party. I'm making lots of banners for his big race car day. Its gonna be fun! While working on the big plans I decided to put together a card for one of my son's best friends. I layered the cake and added a few extra candles to personalize it just for her. I've added Glossy Accents to the gooey layers of frosting, candles and present. I'm sure she'll fly past her card when her birthday rolls around but maybe the happy Critter and the glimpse of pink will make her smile for a quick second. :) Have a great night! Hi Everyone! I'm back to share a card I made with Taylor's sketch #123 . I flipped the sketch a little bit to work with my image. Speaking of the image, isn't this cow adorable? I layered Nestabilities Classic Ovals with Labels 4. I love the combo. If you have several dies try mixing and matching them in different ways. They don't have to nest perfectly to be a great match! I colored the cow with Copics, inked up all the layers and used pointille and letter background to add subtle interest to the background. Hi Everyone! Its Wednesday! How is your week going? I've had a fun couple of days playing with the hill flowers stamp and am excited to show you this card! First I stamped the paisley swirls background stamp which was inked up with various ColorBox Chalk Ink blues. Then I layered the hill flowers stamp right over it. After I finished the focal image it reminded me of a photograph so I framed it up like an old Polaroid picture and added a sentiment. Then I added a butterfly punch covered in Glossy Accents. Hi Everyone! I had a lot of fun putting together this next card. A few cupcakes and a party banner are two quick ways to cheer up any card! I started the card by creating clouds using Big Scallops Nestabilities as my template. Then I created my cupcake tower by masking and layering the Penny Black cup-cake stamp. I cut out small triangles to create my banner then stamped them with the vase stamps from THIS set using white ink. I colored the cupcakes with colored pencils, added some Glossy Accents to the frosting and added some sparkle on the candle's flame. I finished the card by adding a few brads, and the sentiment (also from THIS set). Hope you have a great sunny day!

Hi Everyone! I have some pretty exciting news to share with you tonight! I received a phone call this afternoon and was invited to be a part of the Penny Black design team! There stamps are SO cute and fun to play with. I can't tell you how excited I am about this opportunity!!! Here is my first card design for them. I also created a scrapbook page (can you believe it) that I will share in the next couple of days. When I saw THIS owl he had to be mine! I love him! It felt natural to me to make him hold something so I found this little cupcake to put in his hand. I also have to point out THIS stamp set. It is so versatile! I used it to create the background grid design, the diamonds on the green paper AND for the sentiment. The final detail was adding the recipient's name (my brother Adam) with white ink on the blue paper. I did this using the Robust Upper Case alphabet set. Have a great night!
