Hi Everyone! Its nice to take a break from the holiday card buzz every once in awhile. Its amazing what kind of stampin' mojo comes your way if you just take a little break from the norm. :) Today I created a mini card for a friend who just had a sweet little baby girl. When my daughter Rachel was born my friend gave me the cutest handmade flower headbands and clips. So when thinking about the card for her little one I decided to dress up the bunny  with a big flower of her own. :) Hope you have a great day!

Hi Everyone! I'm often asked how I have the time to craft and create with 2 little kiddos at home. The truth is I don't have hours and hours to sit down by myself in the peach and quiet of my craft room. Instead, I take the small moments throughout the day to plan, stamp, color, embellish, assemble, photograph and blog my cards. This card is a great example. While trying to fall asleep a few nights ago I came up with the sketch for this card and I decided on the stamps and colors I wanted to use. The next day I experimented with those ideas throughout the morning and then finished it up while my daughter took a nap. My son (who just turned three) loves to craft with me and enjoys inking up stamps, cutting with scissors and punching circles while I work. But keep in mind he is 3. :) Craft time only usually lasts about 15 minutes. :) :) I've really been enjoying THIS Memento Ink set lately. It just seems to have all the colors I love and need. Hi Everyone! I'm excited to be featured on the Penny Black blog today. If you haven't had a chance please go check it out. A different Penny Black designer is being showcased each day so you don't want to miss out!  I'm totally excited about the card I'm going to share with you today for several reasons. I started with my favorite owl stamp  and decided he needed a butterfly friend. I love owls! I also want to point out that I made my own text paper! How cool is that?!?! Penny Black has a ton of great sentiments that you can use to make your own text. I used the sentiments set and stamped the small words from the happy birthday sentiment over and over again.
