Tres Chic-kie

Happy Sunday everybody! I didn't think I'd be entering this week's Hero Arts challenge but I was reading through my favorite blogs yesterday and was totally inspired by Jennifer Holmes. Love when that happens! Within a few hours I had this card put together.

I had fun adding a few extra details. I curled the beak around a pencil to make it curve. Then put two layers of dimensional tape under the middle to support the shape. I also made accordion feet. These can fold flat for mailing. :)

Materials: Hero Arts Stamps (Basic Lower & Upper Case Letters, Wavy Leaf Pattern, Many Hearts), Hero Arts Flowers, Hero Arts Button and Gems, Black Buttons, BoBunny Paper, String.

Have a great day!

Adorable. Would you be able to tell me how you got the jagged hair for the chick. Is it a hero arts type of die. I just love this card.

Avery Elle Fall Release Blog Hop

I am so excited because the Avery Elle Fall 2022 release is here!!  I'm looking forward to sharing the new products with you and to participate in today's hop! Let's check out my card using Farm Fresh Christmas! I LOVE the stamps in this set! I stamped the barn, lights, lamps, wreath and deer from this set. There are so many little images to dress the barn up with! I colored, die cut and layered all of the little images. Next, I placed the stamped scene on strips of colored card stock and a small strip of glittered card stock to add more color and interest to the card. Then I mounted it on a card base. I finished the card with Glossy Accents and Stickles on many of the images for more shine and sparkle!
