Lots O' Birthday

Happy Thursday everyone! I'm on a roll with Birthday cards and only have a few more to make. Both of these cards took me under an hour to make thanks to some fun animal stamps that provided all the inspiration I needed.

I used two new products in this card that I love love love! The owl stamp I picked up at AMuse back when I had my class a few months ago. Aren't they the cutest? I also used the new Fiskars border punch. Scallop borders are still my favorite but this new punch is simply fabulous!

Materials: Hero Arts Stamp (Raindrop Background), AMuse Stamps (Happy Birthday MA, Owl Buddies), Fiskars Border Punch, Hero Arts Buttons, PrismaColor Pencils.

I had fun with several patterns on this card. I've been in to thin strips of paper and setiments on tabs lately, can you tell? :)

Materials: Hero Arts Stamps (Sending Happy Thoughts, Live it Up, Raindrop Background, Screen Shadow), Hero Arts button, PrismaColor Pencils, ColorBox Chalk Ink.

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders .
