Avery Elle Starry Scene

Hi Everyone! Have you started making your holiday cards? I love making them one at a time and starting early then I have a fun collection for the holidays! Today I created my card using Starry Scene and  Polar Peek a Boo Pals . Let's check it out! I started this winter scene with the background. I stamped the star sky with Distress Oxides. I tried MANY different kinds of ink for this look and Distress Oxides ended up being my personal favorite. I found applying the ink to the stamp with an ink blender gave the best results. I also had my stamp and paper set up in a Misti so I could easy stamp it several times.  Next I stamped the mountains, bear and fox and colored them with Copics. I hand cut the hills and added Coarse Glitter  to the tops. I finished the card with a sentiment from  Fireside . Thanks for stopping by! Avery Elle Sending Peace

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing Sending Peace  along with the incredibility cute animals from Polar Peek-A-Boo Pals . This cards all started with the sentiment "joy to the world". I love the font, isn't it the best? I heat embossed the sentiment and fit it in to a circle die I hand on hand. I blended Distress Ink and splattered it with water from a paint brush. Next I stamped, die cut and colored a few animals from  Polar Peek-A-Boo Pals . It was so hard to choose which animals I wanted to included! I love them all! Finally, I blended a few sun rays on a card base using Post-it tape and adhered the card together. I'm having a great time creating my first holiday cards! What are you working on? Avery Elle Fall Release Blog Hop

Hello! Thanks for stopping by on the Avery Elle blog hop. Today the Avery Elle design team is sharing the awesome new stamps and dies available now HERE .  I'm sharing the new Peaceful Pines stamps and dies .  I started this card with a water colored background using Mimosa Liquid Watercolor . Next I stamped and die cut the pine branches and added water colored die cut berries using Cherry Liquid Watercolor .  I love a soft, warm feeling for Christmas cards so I die cut the word " merry " from felt. The card needed more color so I die cut the pin branches again from solid green card stock and used it as a shadow behind my stamped image. I love how this card turned out and I can't wait to see what's next on the hop. Head on over to see what  Elena Roussakis  created! Here are all the fun details on how you can win a blog hop prize... Sea-prise! Avery Elle

Hi Friends! Today I'm sharing the terrifyingly adorable stamp set Sea Prise!  Who doesn't like a smiley shark? Here we go... For today's card I was really inspired to get back to ink blending. I've been water coloring A LOT but ink is fun too! I started the card by stamping and die cutting the shark image. I hand cut a mask for the wave and blended a few layers of Distress Ink. Next, I added the same ink to a scrap piece of paper for the shark to hide behind.  From there I decided it needed more color so I blended several colors of rays behind the waves. I just used Post-it tape to mask the edge is each ray. I finished the card with a sentiment from Banner Bits . Thanks for stopping by! Supplies: Sea-prise! Stamps Sea-prise! Dies Banner Bits Dies
