Hi Friends! Today I'm sharing the terrifyingly adorable stamp set Sea Prise! Who doesn't like a smiley shark? Here we go...

For today's card I was really inspired to get back to ink blending. I've been water coloring A LOT but ink is fun too! I started the card by stamping and die cutting the shark image. I hand cut a mask for the wave and blended a few layers of Distress Ink. Next, I added the same ink to a scrap piece of paper for the shark to hide behind.

From there I decided it needed more color so I blended several colors of rays behind the waves. I just used Post-it tape to mask the edge is each ray.

I finished the card with a sentiment from Banner Bits.

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time! This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders .
