Avery Elle Blog Hop!


Welcome to the Avery Elle blog hop! I'm excited to share one of the new sets being released! You won't want to miss out on all of the other inspiration so after you check out this card, hop on over to see what Elena Roussakis made!

Today I'm featuring Sledding Critters! These are the critters you've come to love over the last several releases and now they are all jam packed in an adorable sled. 


I love this stamp because it really makes the whole card for you. I stamped, colored and die cut the image. Next, I lightly inked the sledding hill with Distress Inks. 


I cut a piece of black card stock and embossed a sentiment from the set. Adding two pieces of black card stock on either side, with a little flag cut on the ends makes a quick and easy DIY banner. 


I finished the card with sequins and mounted it on some patterned paper.

Mama Elephant: November Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! You should have arrived here from Geralyn's blog .  The newest release is now live and available for purchase in their store HERE ! The release is another knock out hit! Each stamp set is amazing! Today I'm featuring Cross My Heart and I sneaked in a few of the other sets too! ;) I started my card by die cutting the stitched index card . Then I cut out the window  which is designed to open. (cool, right?) I wanted a frame for my window so I die cut the window again and trimmed the side before adhering it to my index base. Then I backed my window with some cloud patterned paper for my outside sky. Next I stamped and die cut the cats from Purrfect Pair. I have had SO much fun with these cats. After adhering to cats to the window sill, I stamped and fussy cut the heart balloon. I tied some black floss around the balloon and adhere it to the kitten's paw. Finally, I stamped my sentiment.
