Pretty Pink Posh Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pretty Pink Posh blog hop! When Paulina asked me to join, I jumped at the chance to use her amazing products. Today I'm featuring Bee Friends with the coordinating dies, Scallop Hexagons Dies, Thoughtful Greetings and Build a Bloom with coordinating dies.

On my first card I started by die cutting the largest Scallop Hexagons Die and colored them with Distress Oxides. Next, I placed the hexagons on my card base and taped off the edges so I could added the background, also inked with Distress Oxides. I stamped and die cut the bee and flowers from Bee Friends and placed them on my card with foam adhesive. The card was finished with the AMAZING sentiment found in the mini stamp set.

For my next card I started by embossing the sentiment from Thoughtful Greetings on black card stock. Next I stamped and die cut flowers and leaves from Build a Bloom. I layered Distress Stain on the back white card stock, then adhered my black sentiment panel and flowers to the card. The sweet sequins are from Mini Sparkling Clear Flower Sequins and they add the perfect amount of shine to the card. I added one more layer to the back of the card. I simply used tape adhesive and Distress Oxide ink to make a striped background.

For those of you that are new to my blog you can also follow me on Instagram @ashmarcu. I LOVE using Pretty Pink Posh products on my cards!

Prize time! Pretty Pink Posh is generously giving away 4 $25 gift certificates! Two winners from today's hop and two from yesterday's. Winners will be picked at random along the blog hop so leave a comment on each blog to increase your chances of winning. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 5/17/2017. Winners will be announced on the Pretty Pink Posh blog.

Now keep hoppin'! Enjoy!

Fitting together the small hexagon die cuts was perfect for the Bee Friends and Build a Bloom stamps and dies. Love the second carf with the embossed greeting in white on black CS, the Build a Bloom flowers you colored and cut, and the distressed stain in circles for the center of it all! The Mini Sparkling Clear Flower Sequins gloued randomly on the front add the perfect touch!

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !

Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com I am so excited to share the new stamp set Ella & Friends with you! There are so many fun images to choose from in this set that all centers around the BEST elephant stamp ever. ;) I started my scene by stamping the elephant, then I masked in the bunny and bubble blower. Finally, I stamped the bubbles, puddle and splashes. I was SO fun to create. I colored the images with Copics and added a little ink to complete my scene. I trimmed it down to fit inside of the Instalove Creative Cuts and stamped the sentiment. I know you'll agree that stamping this set is super fun but first... To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is picking 3 winners to win their choice of stamp set! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede.
