Oh Christmas Tree

Hi Everyone! I've had a busy couple days getting the house all decked out for Christmas. The kids and I decorated the tree with ornaments today. There is something so magical about Christmas trees. I'm hoping to make some crafty garland with the kids this year to keep their little hands busy while they wait for Christmas. :)

My card today features the Wherever You Are stamp by Penny Black. Its so elegant with the script, text and graphic elements. I inked up the stamp twice with two shades of green ink. I used a circle punch to cut out and highlight the sundial portion of the stamp and added glitter to the tree. I used my favorite jewel toned cardstock and a few embellishments to compliment the stamped image.

Hope you are having a great day!

Love these pretty colors, Ashley! Beautiful card! Sounds like you had a fun time with the kids. Brings back memories of when mine were little. Half the fun was watching how excited they get for Christmas! Enjoy them, my friend!

Mama Elephant: November Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! You should have arrived here from Geralyn's blog .  The newest release is now live and available for purchase in their store HERE ! The release is another knock out hit! Each stamp set is amazing! Today I'm featuring Cross My Heart and I sneaked in a few of the other sets too! ;) I started my card by die cutting the stitched index card . Then I cut out the window  which is designed to open. (cool, right?) I wanted a frame for my window so I die cut the window again and trimmed the side before adhering it to my index base. Then I backed my window with some cloud patterned paper for my outside sky. Next I stamped and die cut the cats from Purrfect Pair. I have had SO much fun with these cats. After adhering to cats to the window sill, I stamped and fussy cut the heart balloon. I tied some black floss around the balloon and adhere it to the kitten's paw. Finally, I stamped my sentiment. I...
