Avery Elle Summer Release Blog Hop




Avery Elle Summer Release is here! I'm so excited to share a few products with you and send you on your way to see ALL of the inspiration in today's hop!


I used Roaring Birthday stamps and dies to create this card. I always love showing different ways to use stamps. I heat embossed the lion on yellow card stock and then darkened his mane and added shadows with a darker Copic marker.  I framed the lion with Starburst Oval Die. I will use this die over and over again. It's a keeper!

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders .
