Hi Everyone! Ashley here sharing the Merry Merry stamp set. I love the big bold sentiments in this set. Let's get started...


Today I wanted to play up the awesome big words in this set by making a statement. I started by heat embossing the sentiment. I love that this set has big sentiments but also gives you lots of options for ordering them how you'd like. 

Next, I taped off each word and blended distress inks. I could have stopped there but I want to add a little extra. I die cut shapes from Fireside and added them to my layout for a little interest and dimension. Fun, right?

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders .
