Mama Elephant: Balloons

Balloon Letters and Balloon Et Cetera are super awesome! Talk about fun, trendy and cute! Today there are all sorts of cards showing off these two sets over on the Mama Elephant blog. Here are mine...

I created this card featuring the Balloons Et Cetera set. First I die cut Hello Script and laid out the animal balloon stamps to get the perfect placement. I stamped the animals in some of my favorite inks (Rainwater, Lemongrass and Lollipop). Next, I die cut the journaling card from Peek a Frame out of kraft cardstock to make a window. I adhere the hello die to the front and mounted my balloon animals to the back. Then I drew the balloon strings.

To finish the card I die cut a few Confetti pieces, stamped the "sweet thing" from Cross My Heart and mounted them all to a large blue mat cut from Peek a Frame.

Next, I created a card featuring Balloon Letters. It also uses a stamp from Balloon Et Cetera and Pandamonium. First, I decided on the placement of my balloons and pandas. Then I inked them up and stamped them on a die cut piece from Femme Frames. I drew in the balloon strings and added a little bit of shading to the pandas with Copics. Next I added a cloud by die cutting Landscape Trio.

I hope you enjoyed my cards today! Thanks for stopping by!

Mama Elephant: November Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! You should have arrived here from Geralyn's blog .  The newest release is now live and available for purchase in their store HERE ! The release is another knock out hit! Each stamp set is amazing! Today I'm featuring Cross My Heart and I sneaked in a few of the other sets too! ;) I started my card by die cutting the stitched index card . Then I cut out the window  which is designed to open. (cool, right?) I wanted a frame for my window so I die cut the window again and trimmed the side before adhering it to my index base. Then I backed my window with some cloud patterned paper for my outside sky. Next I stamped and die cut the cats from Purrfect Pair. I have had SO much fun with these cats. After adhering to cats to the window sill, I stamped and fussy cut the heart balloon. I tied some black floss around the balloon and adhere it to the kitten's paw. Finally, I stamped my sentiment. I...
