Mama Elephant: Sentiment Borders

Great background sets are a stampers best friend. They may seem boring in the package but Sentimental Borders from Mama Elephant packs a punch. Normally when I first get a stamp set I stamp it a few times on scratch paper just to get the feel of the images. This card IS my test run. It just came out perfect the first time. LOVE that it's SO easy.

So I stamped the birthday Sentimental Borders background several times. As you can see, it all lines up easily without much effort. Then I stamped and die cut my sentiment from Bloomsies and the cupcake from Carnival Cupcakes with matching dies.

I think this is my favorite cupcake yet! The top of the cupcake and bow were lightly colored with Prisma pencils. Oh, I used all ME inks too (Smoke, Winter, Orangeade, Blush, and Bubblegum).

Mama Elephant: November Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! You should have arrived here from Geralyn's blog . The newest release is now live and available for purchase in their store HERE ! The release is another knock out hit! Each stamp set is amazing! Today I'm featuring Cross My Heart and I sneaked in a few of the other sets too! ;) I started my card by die cutting the stitched index card . Then I cut out the window which is designed to open. (cool, right?) I wanted a frame for my window so I die cut the window again and trimmed the side before adhering it to my index base. Then I backed my window with some cloud patterned paper for my outside sky. Next I stamped and die cut the cats from Purrfect Pair. I have had SO much fun with these cats.
