Cool Walrus

Hi Everyone! I took a little time today to play with the current Paper Smooches Sparks sketch challenge.
 
 
I absolutely adore the current Paper Smooches release. Its ALL wonderful, cute and fun! I saw the sketch and thought of putting the walrus floating on an iceberg. Isn't his expression (or lack there of) the best?

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !
