Monster Polka Dots

Hey Everyone! I'm posting a card today for Lucy's Challenge 5...polka dots!

The polka dots in this one are pretty subtle. The funny monster has polka dotted legs and then I used one of my favorite background stamps (Cling Dots) by Hero Arts! I'm hoping to make a couple more because I love love LOVE polka dots!


I also want to thank Virginia and her family for picking my card as one of the HM winners in her Beat the Winter Blahs challenge!!! She is always such a ray of sunshine and to be picked and showcased as one of her family's favorite cards for her first challenge makes my day!

Mama Elephant: November Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! You should have arrived here from Geralyn's blog .  The newest release is now live and available for purchase in their store HERE ! The release is another knock out hit! Each stamp set is amazing! Today I'm featuring Cross My Heart and I sneaked in a few of the other sets too! ;) I started my card by die cutting the stitched index card . Then I cut out the window  which is designed to open. (cool, right?) I wanted a frame for my window so I die cut the window again and trimmed the side before adhering it to my index base. Then I backed my window with some cloud patterned paper for my outside sky. Next I stamped and die cut the cats from Purrfect Pair. I have had SO much fun with these cats. After adhering to cats to the window sill, I stamped and fussy cut the heart balloon. I tied some black floss around the balloon and adhere it to the kitten's paw. Finally, I stamped my sentiment.
