I {Heart} Hero Arts Blog Hop

Hey Everybody! What a fun day it is today! Hero Arts is such a generous and kind company I thought it was about time we all gave them a BIG thank you! So to celebrate such a wonderful company I put together a little blog hop going on over here. Maybe that is why you are here?

My Hero Arts Story: After having my son almost two years ago I was browsing through my local stamp store and came across a Hero Arts catalog. It had so many fun ideas I had to buy it! I admit that I copied several cards in the catalog because I had only stamped a little bit here and there but my creativity soon took off. I also had to check out their website and heard about this new blog they were going to start with lots of fun ideas and challenges. I got on board and haven't looked back!

Why I {Heart} Hero Arts: They are a creative, fun company that is customer focused. Really, they make you feel like part of their community. I love each of the designers individually and as a group for being so kind and keeping me on my toes with fun new challenges! I can't forget the people working behind the scenes either...I wouldn't have stamps with out them. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Materials
[Appericate Hero Arts Card]
Stamps: Live Simply, Home II
Paper: PTI, BoBunny, Bazzill Swiss Dots Embossed

Mama Elephant March Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com I am so excited to share the new stamp set Ella & Friends with you! There are so many fun images to choose from in this set that all centers around the BEST elephant stamp ever. ;) I started my scene by stamping the elephant, then I masked in the bunny and bubble blower. Finally, I stamped the bubbles, puddle and splashes. I was SO fun to create. I colored the images with Copics and added a little ink to complete my scene. I trimmed it down to fit inside of the Instalove Creative Cuts and stamped the sentiment. I know you'll agree that stamping this set is super fun but first... To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is picking 3 winners to win their choice of stamp set! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede. You have up to 4 chances to qualify to...

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !
