Rocky Shores Die 3 Ways

Hi  Everyone! In every Avery Elle release there is normally one stamp set or die set that catches me by surprise. At first, it may not stand out as a favorite but over time, creating cards it becomes my stand by, go to product. In the latest release that die set is Rocky Shores .  Today, I used the die to create a fun grassy field for these two friends. Rocky Shores made a quick and simple hill for these friends to stand on. I die cut and colored the animals from Wood You? and Hedgehugs . The sentiment is from Simply Said Hugs . I also used Rocky Shores ito create two completely different looks  HERE and HERE . Thanks for stopping by!

Avery Elle: Swans

Hi Everyone! Swans is an adorable small set from Avery Elle. I have to admit that I LOVE these small sets. They are so much fun! To create my card I stamped and die cut the largest swan with the cute couple and colored it with Copics. I did the same thing with the small heart and added a little Glossy Accents . The background was created with Distress Stain and then I added the stamped sentiment and lots of sequins.  The background paper is some adorable Crate Paper that I had in my stash. Thanks for stopping by!

Avery Elle: Wood You?

Hi Everyone! The cute stamps just keep coming, don't they?  This one is Wood You? by Avery Elle.  This card started with the beaver. His expression is the best. Next, I decided to use the chopped down tree in the set for a little (okay BIG) pencil. I LOVE birch trees so I knew I wanted to color the tree and stump a little different with the unique bark found on birch trees.  I finished the card by cutting out a mat using Double Pierced Rectangle Dies  and inking the forest floor with Distress Ink. The twine is one of my favorites, Aquamarine . Thanks for stopping by!

Avery Elle: Hedgehugs

Hi Everyone! Today I'm featuring the adorable Hedgehugs by Avery Elle. I also used this post on the release blog hop (a few posts back) if you'd like double the inspiration. ;) I created this scene by stamping the hedgehog and balloon bunch from Hedgehugs . Next I stamped and die cut the small heart and another string from the balloon bunch. With a little creative cutting and gluing, I had a small heart balloon.  I love creating with this set and I think you will to. I can't wait to see what you create. Thanks for stopping by!

Avery Elle: Hang in There

Hi Everyone! Happy Thanksgiving!  Today I'm featuring the stamps and dies called Hang in There by Avery Elle. I decided to have the cute dog in the set flying in a hot air balloon. The balloon was created with three die cut circles and the adorable basket from the set. I drew the hot air balloon strings and added the stamped sentiment to finish the card. I hope you have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

Avery Elle: Love Puffin

Tod ay I created a card featuring  Love Puffin  stamps and d ies . I started by creating the fun blended background with Distress Paints. I love how these paints blend and dry quickly. They are even perfect to stamp on. Fun, right? Next, I stamped, die cut and colored the puffins. The scenery was created usin g die cut pieces from  Rocky Shores .  Finally, the entire panel was cut using  Finished Frames .  Thanks for stopping by!

Avery Elle Blog Hop!

Hi Everyone! Today is an exciting day! I LOVE the new Avery Elle stamps and dies and am super excited to share them with you! Today, I get to share my first card of this release. I started this card with some of the adorable images from Hedgehugs. Heather Campbell, who designed this set, knocked it out of the park. Her illustration style is amazing! I built the scene with Rocky Shores Dies (it makes a great mossy hill, don't you think?) and Tree Die. The banner was created from Hanging Banners . I just trimmed it down a little bit to fit the tree. This hop is full of inspiration. Check out the others in the hop below and all the release details. Right at Home: Christmas Foliage

Hi Crafters! Today I'm sharing a great set from Right at Home's Christmas collection. Christmas Foliage is a great set with so many iconic holiday images and perfect sentiments. I started this card by creating a background with several stamps from the set. What I love about this set is that you can keep it simple with the images (like I did) or you can colored them to your hearts content. Next, I embossed the sentiment in white on black card stock and popped it behind a die cut window. This was such a fun card to create! I can't wait to see what you create with this set!

Avery Elle: Kitsch Christmas & Retro Ornaments

Hi Everyone! Today I'm featuring Kitsch Christmas  and Retro Ornaments  from Avery Elle. To start my kitsch card I took some time (okay, a lot of time) on Pinterest looking at all of the amazing inspiration. I found a few wreaths that I LOVED and was inspired to make a colorful, sparkly wreath from washi tape! After I created my wreath, I stamped and colored a few images from the set and added them to my wreath. I finished the card with a sentiment. I love how it turned out! For my second card I had the best time coloring these amazing ornaments from Retro Oraments. I used Copics to colored them in and then added lots of Wink of Stella so they shine and sparkle.  Thanks for stopping by!

Avery Elle: Holiday Spirits

Today I combined two fun sets from Avery Elle,  Holiday Spirits and  Elf-tacular . I stamped and die cut the two main images, then carefully trimmed the Elf's packages from her hand so I could replace them with the rum bottle. The ombre bottle was inspired by a bottle I found on Pinterest. I love that I can pull inspiration from Pinterest for anything. ;) I heat embossed the sentiment and added a hill to the background to add a little interest to the card.  This elf is ready for the holidays! Thanks for stopping by!

Right at Home: Fall Leaves

Today I'm featuring the beautiful stamp sets Fall Leaves  and Grateful Heart . There is such an amazing variety of leaf prints in Fall Leaves. I images are the perfect size for a focal image or to create a custom background. In my card today, I heat embossed several of the leaf images and then blended in the colors that are currently in my back yard. I embossed the sentiment from Grateful heart (my favorite Right at Home stamp set) and finished the card off with some washi tape and twine. These two stamp sets work so well together. I can't wait to send out this card! Thanks for stopping by!

Avery Elle Merriest

Hi Everyone! Today I'm featuring Merriest  by Avery Elle. This set is one of those that I will be going back to time and time again because of the amazing year round sentiments that you can build with it.  I couldn't help but add a few more sets from the latest release to build my card. The reindeers are from North Pole Pals  and the string of lights is from Retro Ornaments . The sentiment was embossed with Ranger Gold Embossing Powder . This stuff is magic I tell ya. I may emboss with gold forever.  The reindeer and lights were colored with Copics and the background was blended with a few different Distress Inks.  Thanks for stopping by!

Right at Home Thank You

The colors of fall are here. I love bringing in bright reds, oranges and yellows from outside in to my cards. Right at Home has a amazing flower stamp set called Find the Beauty . The flowers and sentiments are perfect. I can't wait to stamp it again and again. For my card today I stamped several of the flowers from the set using my Misti and pigment ink to get very vibrant colors. I die cut a circle from the middle and placed a Distressed stained panel behind it. The sentiment was embossed on a small black circle and placed in the middle. Sequins finished the card.

Stamptember with Avery Elle!

Stamptember has been so much fun over at Simon Says Stamp ! Today I get to help introduce the collaboration set with Avery Elle. This set has awesome fonts and great sentiments. I embossed the snowflakes from the set in white and then layered distress ink over each of them, carefully blending the colors where they touched. A little blending goes a long way. I finished the card by stamping the sentiment, adding raindrops and sequins and adding patterned paper from  The Neutral Collection . Thank you so much for stopping by today! Get your Avery Elle Stamptember set before they sell out!

Pinecones and Puppies

I love creating for Christmas. I also love starting early so I have a nice stash of cards when I start sending them out in November. It will be here before I know it! Today I created with Avery Elle's Pinecone stamp set . I stamped it three times to create the pine needles, single pinecone and pinecone with bow. I used Distress Ink to color them all and then layered them together.  The tag was cut from the  Postage Stamp Die  set and I finished off the card with Pretty Pink Posh sequins. This card could easily be mass produced. ;) Next, I created a card using the absolutely adorable Happy Howlidays stamp set. I took a little more time with this card....my husband claims it took me 3 hours...I don't think so. :) Anyways, I stamped the puppy and colored him once. That is the one with the blue scarf.  Then I stamped it again twice and trimmed off the head and scarf tail. I colored and fussy cut the pieces and then creatively taped them all back t...

Avery Elle Chalet

Hi Everyone! Today I'm featuring Chalet  from Avery Elle! This set takes me back to when I was a young teenager and LOVED to paint Christmas houses.  When I first got this set, I stamped and colored several houses and decorated them. It was so fun to customize the houses with windows, doors, garland and lights! I selected two of those house for this card and placed them on a hill I created using the Pierced Circle Dies and Dotted Border Dies . The tree, snowflakes and sentiment finished the card. Thanks for stopping by!

Elf-tacular and Polar Pals

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  Today I'm creating with a few of the amazing Avery Elle stamps that were recently released. I adore all of these sweet images. My first card uses the new Elf-tacular stamp set and dies . I stamped the girl, bear and presents and colored them with Copics. The background is blended with Distress ink and the scalloped roof was die cut from Happy Home dies. I trimmed off the bottom of the die to show off the scallops.  Next, I created this card with the same  Happy Home  dies but this time placed Santa and his favorite reindeer on top. :) The stamps are all from Polar Pals . The night sky was created using Distress stain. I love Distress stain. The card was finished with Avery Elle's Midnight twine . Thanks for stopping by today!
