Mama Elephant: Three Amigos

Hi Everyone! Ashley here, sharing a card featuring Three Amigos ! I created a little hideout using Peek a Frames and Sew Fancy for the raccoon that I stamped from Three Amigos . The stamped leaves are a perfect addition from Freestyle Florals  and add to the woodsy look.  I added a few more stamped panels behind the hideout using Sew Fancy and the new borders set Zenith Borders .   I hope you enjoy Three Amigos as much as I did! I can't wait to stamp it again and again!

Mama Elephant: Zenith Borders

Today I'm highlighting the new Mama Elephant stamp set Zenith Borders . This isn't the first time I've used this set though. :) There is more HERE and HERE . I started by die cutting Femme Frames and stamped the chevron border like flags hanging from the top of the panel. I added the die cut bears from Bear Hugs (colored with Copics) and a sentiment from Surprise Sentiments . I love the tone on tone background. I die cut Sew Fancy and used Zenith Borders again to add the pattern. It's been a great week! Thanks for stopping by!

Mama Elephant: Freestyle Florals

I'm back sharing the new Mama Elephant release. This card features Freestyle Florals but I couldn't help but incorporate a few of the other new sets too! :) To create this card I stamped the flower and leaves, colored them with Copics and die cut them out. The Creative Cuts are a must have with a set like this. ;) Next I cut the journaling card from Peek a Frame , added a little ink and stamped the sentiment from Bear Hugs . I created the back panel by stamping the chevron from Zenith Borders  at a diagonal. I love how the front and the back of the border stamp shows on some lines. It adds to the organic look, don't you think? I added a little more ink around the edges then die cut it with Sew Fancy . I added a few finishing touch with twine and washi tape and the card is done.  I'll be back with more tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by!

Mama Elephant Stamp Highlight: Bear Hugs

Today I'm sharing the new Mama Elephant Bear Hugs stamp set. It is amazing! I sat down and made this card the day it arrived in my mail. :) It's THAT good.  I started this card by stamping and die cutting the bears from Bear Hugs  and the coordinating Creative Cuts . Next I used Sew Fancy along with Landscape Trio to create the white panel. The hill was inked using a mask and Distress Ink. Then I stamped the sentiment, placed the bears and added the stars. I love the patterned papers that complete this scene! I'll be back with more Mama Elephant release projects soon!

Mama Elephant Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! The newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com I created a card with three of the new stamp sets. It features Freestyle Florals plus stamps from Zenith Borders and Bear Hugs.  I started by die cutting a white mat from Femme Frames . Next, I stamped the flowers and leaves from Freestyle Florals in several colors of pigment ink . I sponged a few coordinating colors around the edges. Next I die cut a tag from Tags a Lot . I didn't need the entire tag so I used the Femme Frames die again to trim off the top which added the stitched border.  I stamped the sentiment from Bear Hugs and the branches from Femme Frames. The card was finished with my favorite background from Zenith Borders. This is a knock out release. I know you'll love it! To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is picking 3 winners to win their choice of stamp set...

Mama Elephant: Surprise Sentiments

Hi Everyone! Ashley here sharing a card featuring the newly released  Surprise Sentiments . I love this entire release and have used a few other great new products to compliment the trendy sentiment. This card started with the sentiment. I love the mix of fonts in this set! The curly Y  in Hooray inspired me to create a super hero (found in the new  Tiny Heroes  set) flying up through the sentiment. I love how the super girl fits right above the curve. To create the scene I first die cut a piece of white card stock using the Sew Fancy dies. Then I stamped the sentiment and the super girl. The super girl will eventually be covered up but I needed her there to get my placement right. Next, I masked off an area below her and inked it up, gradually going from dark to light. Once I was done with the ink I used the Sew Fancy dies again to add the stitched lines below the sentiment. Next I stamped the super girl image again on a separate piec...
