I Spy Monday

It's always fun running across my cards when I'm out and about in blog land. It's a great way to start the week! ;)   Today, Lawn Fawn included my wrapped banner card in their Flickr Monday post . Thanks Lawn Fawn!!!   Then as an added bonus I spied two (!!!) of my cards on the Paper Crafts Connection blog . They are in the upcoming Handmade Cards special issue. The first card is on the cover (super excited!) and features a Mama Elephant sentiment  and glitter tape. The second card, further down in the post, has a journaling card and lots of fun embellishments.   Now how about I end with a new card that I created?     Lots of fun things from Bella Blvd's Trick or Treat collection and ..... no stamps.... it happens (rarely). :)   Have a great Monday!

Have a Beautiful Day!

Happy Sunday! I finally got to play with the new Avery Elle set, Happy Camper. It's SO fun! Our family loves to camp so this set will be used a lot. I think it will be super fun for Project Life layouts too!   I love to layer and this card really shows that. I used several elements from the new Amy Tan Cut & Paste collection. The arrow (my abstract lake) and pink burst are from the die cut shapes  and the sun is from the 6x6 paper pad .   This set was so fun to create with and I can't wait to use it again!    Hope you have a great Sunday! We are gearing up for the Seahawks game today! Go Hawks! :)   Thanks for stopping by!

Saturday Scraps

Happy Saturday! I don't know about you but often times I have stamped images, random die cuts and other materials out on my desk that are left over or weren't used on a project. I collected these little bits and pieces today and put them together on a card.   Except for the twine, everyone was already out (yes, my desk is sometimes a mess). Not only did it help clear up my desk but I now have a cute card I can send my Grandma. :)   Have a great weekend!

JFF: You Brighten My Day

Today's card is just for fun! Sometimes I love playing with my supplies with no goal in mind. Not only is it fun but it normally gets my creativity going. Perfect way to go in to the weekend!     I pulled out a lot of my Lawn Fawn goodies for this card. Yep, I think the whole card is Lawn Fawn except for the cardstock. ;)   I started with the new the Stitched Journaling Card , stamped it with my FAVORITE background stamp from Interlocking Backdrops, altered a banner from Bannerific  used a sentiment from Summertime Charm and finished it off with some twine and hearts. The chalkboard paper is from the new Peace Love Joy petite paper pack.   Thanks for stopping by!

Washi Tape Bow

Hi Everyone! I LOVE making washi tape bows! My favorite tape to use is Bella Blvd. The thickness, texture and stickiness just work the best for me. Today I used Gulf Dot found HERE . I also made a simple wood frame by masking off the middle of the card with then stamping  Woodgrain Backdrops . The layered chipboard shapes are from the new Dear Lizzy Polka Dot party collection and the sentiment is from  Lawn Fawn's Winter Gifts .   PS. If you'd like to see how I  made this bow check out the tutorial on the tabs at the top of my blog.   Thanks for stopping by!

September Avocado Arts Release!

Hi Everyone! I'm up on the Avocado Arts blog with their September release!! This is one of my three cards I shared over there. Go check it out HERE  (and make sure to check out the other DT cards...they are awesome)! :)     Have a great day!

Fun with Die Cuts

Hi Everyone! During a recent publication call I realized that I REALLY love creating with die cut cardstock pieces. THIS Dear Lizzy set was an instant favorite. I've used almost the whole set and may need to buy it again. It's that good. ;)     I layered three die cut pieces with cardstock from the coordinating 6x6 paper pad and stamped the herringbone from Lawn Fawn.     Thanks for stopping by!
