Raspberry Suite Color Challenge 7

Hey Everyone! I'm back to show you a super quick card I made for Dawn McVey's color challenge this week. Lucky for me she extended the deadline so I had a chance to play with these super fun colors. The colors were perfect for creating a card I need for a wedding this weekend. Since time is short these days I just used a few die cuts, a little stamping and stitching and called it done. Thanks for the challenge Dawn!

Shape Challenge at Caardvarks

Hey Everybody! I'm back to let you know about another fun challenge that just started over at Caardvarks. Its all about shapes! Just create a card in any shape (other that the usual square & rectangle) and be entered to win a prize!!! Check out the details HERE . For my card I created an ow.! Love them!!! I kept this little guy pretty simple and just focused on the shape. I created the template from scratch based on a stuffed animal my daughter has from Pottery Barn Kids. I can just imagine making a whole family of these little guys...wouldn't that be fun? [PBK Owl Card] Paper: PTI Stamps: Hero Arts Raindrop Background Ink: PTI Ink, Hero Arts Flower, American Crafts Buttons Thanks for stopping by! Have fun with this challenge and be sure it drop a note if you make your own owl shaped card! I would love to see 'em!

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge 6

Hey Everyone! Is today Sunday? I can't seem to keep my days straight. :) I normally get back on track during the weekends but my husband left on an unexpected business trip to Korea yesterday so now I'm all mixed up! Eeek. I'm so excited that I had a chance to put together a card for Dawn McVey's color challenge this week. I just love her color choices! I got out my Scattered Showers stamp set for this little card. I also used Polka Dot basics to pair with the umberella. I created a simple background with the outline of the umberella on the aqua mist paper then used the same outline for the main umberella and added the fun pink polka dot lining. Love how the PTI stamps go together! I also added a little sparkle with diamond Stickles to the corners of the die cut. Just wanted to add a little bit of fun! Thanks for the challenge Dawn! Dot Dot Dot

It feels so good to be bloggin' again...better yet to be creating! Here is the card I put together for this week's Hero Arts Dot challenge. Who doesn't love dots!?! I'm seriously addicted to my Raindrop Background stamp and I love all the dots incorporated in the new Be Yourself set. I used both sets to create this simple dot inspired card. ;) [Sending Warm Wishes Supplies] Paper: PTI Kraft, Aqua Mist, Spring Moss Stamps: Hero Arts Raindrop Background, Be Yourself, All Occasion Messages Ink: ColorBox Chalk Ink, Memories Black Die Ink Other: Machine Stitching, Hero Arts Pink Pearls, Martha Stewart Classic Butterfly Punch

Hey Everyone! Just a super quick post to let you know that there is a new challenge up over at Caardvarks. Click HERE to check it out! Stamp by Unity Stamp Co.

I'm Back! :) :) :)

The last week and a half has been crazy! A few Wednesday's ago I was walking up to my craftroom after putting my son down for a nap...my water broke...a few hours later I had a new baby girl instead of a finished card. :) I am so blessed to have two adorable children and can't wait until we can all play, color and stamp together!!! So here is the card that was left half finished. I had some very rare free time to finish it a few days ago and finally was able to photograph it today. I intended to submit it to the Hero Arts Distress week challenge but missed the due date. Lucky for me the challenge this week is Flowers so it works for that too! I used a ton of Hero Arts stamps on this card. The script stamp from the Artistic Windows set was used to create a subtle background on the blue cardstock. I stamped the Raindrop Background stamp on the clear button, white flower and craft cardstock. I also added the Heart Winged Butterfly with some Ranger Distress Ink and finally sta...
