Stamped Washi

Hi again! Washi tape is awesome. I have a lot and use if for so many fun things. Sometimes its even fun to stamp your own faux tape!    Its SO easy. I just use printer paper to cut out a quick mask. First, use an X-ACTO knife  and self healing mat  to cut the length. Then rip the sides so it has that perfect tape look. Next place it on your paper, stamp and add ink.   Stamps used: Kindness Matters  from Neat and Tangled, Interlocking Backdrops  from Lawn Fawn.   Thanks for stopping by!   Ashley

Neat and Tangled Challenge

HI Everyone! I can't resist a good challenge. Especially a good challenge for a good company. :)     Here is my take on " washi it up "....       I used Sparkle & Shine to create my own journaling card. Then I wrapped the edges with washi tape. The card needed a little something more so I stamp the diamonds on the background patterned paper.   Thanks for the fun challenge Danielle!

Happy Burst

Hi Everyone! Today I'm playing with some awesome new stamps and dies from Simon Says Stamp . There are so many fun images in the Cupcake Party set. I decided to focus on the burst and star images from the set but that cupcake must be inked up soon! :)   I stamped my panel first and then die cut it with  hexagons  and popped them up with foam tap. I created the sentiment using the  happy  die and the coordinating stamp set . Super easy and fun to put together.   Thank for stopping by!   Ashley

Avery Elle Challenge

Hi Everyone! I LOVE Avery Elle stamps! The more I use them the more I LOVE them. So I wanted to take some time today to create a card for their current challenge. :)   I love using sketches for a jumping off point. This one was so fun! Thanks Nina! :) You know those little wood veneer pieces you see EVERYwhere? Well, I decided to make some faux ones using patterned paper and ink. What do you think? Fun and easy.     Stamps/Dies used: Oh Happy Day  (This set is amazing! It's a great starter set if you don't own any Avery Elle yet) and Simply Tags   Thanks for stopping by!
