I'm on a roll with challenges this week. It feels good to be back in the groove again. I think its the new Hero Arts owls I've been working with or maybe that I just found out I'm going to have a baby girl! Life is good.
It just worked out that I fit two challenges in to one today. Kristina's Color Inspiration #35 and Hero Arts Tuesday Sketch.
Here is my card. I'm still working with the set of Four Stylish Owls from Hero Arts. Hopefully I don't give myself owl overload! LOL. 
I used two shades of chalk brown when inking the owl. I inked the entire owl with a medium brown and then went back with a dark brown on his right side to create subtle shading. I reapplied more medium brown between the colors to blend and then stamped. It creates the same effect as shading with colored pencils. Super quick and easy.
Materials: Hero Arts stamps (Four Stylish Owls, Happy Hello), ColorBox Chalk Ink, Memories Black Die Ink, BoBunny Paper, String.
